Went there for the first time as we just moved to the area. My wife, myself, my 19 year old and another 19 year old. We went to the restaurant at 7:10pm to order dinner. The waitress asked if the kids were 18 and we said yes but one of them doesn’t have their ID. She said, oh that’s fine go to the bar and she led us to the bar through the restaurant. She had said the AC wasn’t working in the restaurant and it was cooler in the bar. The first thing the younger waitress said is I need ID from the younger adults just to sit in there. They weren’t drinking. So she refused to serve us understandably. But the other waitress should have known that we couldn’t be in there. It felt like she didn’t want to serve us because it was close to closing time. Probably won’t go back.
UPDATE::The owner reached out and asked to give their establishment a second chance. We did and were very happy with everything. The service was amazing and the food was really good. Will be back Mike! thanks for everything. 5 stars!!

This is a good small town restaurant. They know the regulars by name. They help the seniors out. Great great service always with a smile.food is good portions and fast cook times.ypu can't go wrong with this place.

I've there yesterday. I'm from Calgary, but I had some work at Didsbury (for the first time in my life). Great food, service even better, atmosphere really nice, quiet.... planning to take my family to Didsbury for "great escape" from big city and great food !!!

I guess you could say this is your typical small town greasy spoon. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, French toast, eggs and sausages. Great portions to! We will go back again, keep up the great food guys!!!

Food was good.
Service tonight was the worst I’ve ever had at any establishment. The waitress had a terrible attitude and was rude.
We understand everyone has their bad days, but this was ridiculous.
Requests such as more plates for sharing pizza and chicken was apparently unreasonable, asking for cutlery and ketchup for other dishes was evidently painful for her.
When we replied to her question of “ Am I missing anything ?” with what dishes were missing, we received a terrible attitude.
Really made the experience unwelcoming.

Also bring some colouring and crayons for your kids, because we weren’t offered such.

Amazing, just amazing. I was fortunate enough to be there on a day they made clam chowder soup. Every soup is home made I was told. You could tell. That soup was the best soup I may have ever had at a restaurant. The bathroom should be a bit more clean. The serving staff were great too. The prices are great. 10 to 15 for a meal.
