This BBQ joint is Legit! They BBQ the food in the back of the restaurant, you can envy over the tools of the trade when you park, the food is delicious. We ordered The Mama Jones platter for $75 it's more than enough food for 3. The brisket is tender and falls apart, the pulled pork is spot on, the chicken and the sausage were absolutely mouthwatering delicious. Even the coleslaw is something to rave about.

This place has grown over the years starting in 2016 down on Cook St and I'm super happy they opened this location. Lots of seating and a chill atmosphere. A place not to be missed.

The brisket and Chicken sandwich are my favorites. The ribs are close. It's all good. Highly recommend for the food. Healthy portion sizes.

A delicious incredible celiac, friendly barbeque joint in Langford… wow. Was visiting the area on holiday and drove in from Sooke to try this barbeque restaurant. I had heard in the celiac community on facebook that this was a good choice. This restaurant is located near the Goldstream area and has adequate inside and covered patio seating. We came before dinner hour, and it was quiet. However, there were a fair amount of takeout and pick up orders. The menu is easily accessible on the wall and menus can be given to you to sit at a table and read before you go up to the counter and order.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and understanding of celiac. They were able to answer any questions I had. Deep fryer for tater tots and fries is safe as it is not a shared fryer. All of their meat are labelled gluten-free and also safe.

For my meal, I chose a two meat plate with tater tots and potato salad. It came with pickles and barbeque sauce. My partner who is not gluten-free also ordered a two meat plate, but chose potato salad and cornbread for the sides. The average cost of $27 per combo is reasonable for the amount of food you receive. we both had the brisket and pork butt. Both were incredibly fall off the bone juicy and delicious. (See pics)

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is gluten-free or celiac. If you don’t have food, allergies or celiac, this place would also be amazing for you as well. We live on the mainland in Vancouver, but will definitely eat here the next time we come to the island.

The sausage? Absolute sleeper hit. Sliced on the bias because it’s fancy like that. The snap when you bite into it is borderline cinematic. Smoky, juicy, and seasoned like it read your mind. Is this what happiness tastes like? Probably.

Then there are the fries. Golden, crispy, perfect for scooping, dunking, or just nervously eating while you pace around deciding which meat to tackle next. They’ve seen things. They’ve supported you through brisket highs and sausage lows.

The slaw? Refreshing, creamy, and peppered with poppy seeds like a polite Midwestern aunt who also has a wild side. It’s here to balance the richness and remind you that vegetables are technically still a thing.

And that bun? Soft, glossy, and absolutely unnecessary—but in the best, most “why not build a brisket sandwich right now” kind of way. Throw in a few snappy pickles and you’ve got yourself a full barbecue symphony with crunch, smoke, fat, and flair.

Final verdict: This isn’t just a meal—it’s a meat meditation. A smoky, saucy sermon. Go to Jones Bar-B-Que. Bring napkins. Bring humility. Leave full.

Our cornbread was burnt, and food got quite cold even though we showed up right when we were asked to. However, the rest of the food was still tasty when we warmed of up!

A heads up that when you order online, the staff don't allow you to choose 2 of the same meat (eg. brisket and brisket) even if you're able to do so online.

Jones BBQ in Langford knows what they’re doing. The brisket is legit—tender, smoky, and full of flavor. The crew is super chill and makes you feel right at home. Solid spot for real BBQ. This is definitely love at first try!

I ordered the Grandpa burger.
And to see it was delicious is to do a disservice to this sandwich. I'm convinced the only reason they have other items on the menu. It's so that the grandpa burger doesn't lonely. Local human beings, it was a passion to provide simple food that tastes great. Or the friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone. Come hungry and hungry and you will leave full and happy.
