Small local grocery store but has a good selection of everything.
Very friendly staff will help you to locate an item.
The whole town of Thessalon is the most friendliest small town that I have seen.
You will feel like you have known the staff all your life.

Some products have gone bad despite the expiration date so be careful with their dairy products especially I’ve purchased milk and yogurt that was bad even though the date was good for another few weeks, also their produce isn’t good and everything else is over priced which is ironic considering the name of the place is value mart. Shop somewhere else if possible.

Excellent service and products. Small space but good variety. Staff are constantly restocking and meats, fish, and produce are fresh. If they are out of a particular item, the courteous staff will check the backroom stock. The cashiers are all friendly and efficient, yet we never feel rushed. Always good sales available. We do all our grocery shopping there; just a short drive from Bruce Mines and no need to drive to Sault Ste. Marie.

Small cramped grocery store ...huge cumbersome shopping carts ...senseless.

Outrageous prices, but what can you do? There’s nowhere else to shop in town.

Bigger issue: Nobody knows how to park in the parking lot.
Nobody lines their cars up.
Nobody parks parallel.
People park right in the entrance in front of the dropped curb.
Everybody parks like it’s their first day driving.
I’ve never seen anything like it.
Google earth image attached…. Look at those cars! Ridiculous!

There’s definitely something wrong with people in Thessalon. Don’t drink the tap water.
