We were really excited to check this place out, but left a bit disappointed. We ordered the tasting menu for four people, which was alright but nothing extraordinary. There were a few really good dishes and a few meh dishes.

Where things really fell apart was the cocktails. Anything that was supposed to be spirit forward was way too watery and flavourless. It seemed like they could only really execute on the sweet sugary drinks, which were good. However, when you charge $20+ for a cocktail, it has to be perfect, and these were far from it.

The vibes of the place were pretty cool, but we felt like there wasn’t really a solid theme.

One other thing to mention is that the seating we were given was quite uncomfortable. The chairs were awkward and the table left you no room to put your feet anywhere.

Great service and food. Drinks had a good variety of flavour profiles, and the waitress was helpful/enthusiastic in providing recommendations.

Definitely recommend the curry milk bread and spring rolls. The meat of the mussels were unfortunately quite small but at least the restaurant provided a good portion. Ambiance is upbeat and lively without it being too obnoxious.

It took me far too long to check this place out and I’m regretting not going sooner. What a brilliant and beautiful cocktail bar this is. The food is also so delicious! I love how they have their gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. The service is excellent and even though they were so busy everything came out incredibly fast. 6/5 stars. I can’t wait to go back and try more things!

Great vibes and delicious food. Perfect place for a birthday dinner because they have a lot of booths and small round tables for 6 people. There’s a live DJ but you can still hear each other and talk. Pretty decor for pics ?

Laksa bombs were the fav dish of the night!
Ahi tuna tartare was second best.
Spring rolls are good
Pork belly was good
Crème brûlée was cool with lychee shaved ice
Mussels had a good soup
Fries were crispy and the aioli was extra delicious
Uni soba I was excited for but it was just okay
Oysters
Octopus

I recently ate at Jungle Room for my friend’s birthday dinner, and it was awesome! The appetizers were delicious and the main dishes were just as good. The portions were generous and everything tasted great, especially the Chicken Taliwang – I was told it's the chef’s mom’s recipe and it was amazing! The service was super friendly and the atmosphere, with the beautiful decor, was really cool. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I actually liked the place and will go back, service was good, drink was good, food was yummy and interesting and vibe was cool.
They had a live dj on sunday night of long weekend which i loved the music had a good flow, place it self has a nice vibe, cool decoration. Drink is tasty price was average to abit higher for cocktails but i liked the taste. Not too many options for food but the ones there are good enough and you wont get overwhelmed lol! Good options tho, check their IG for food photos it helps, we had hard time choosing, my drink was training season the blue one, was yummy. Got the rice cake for appi loved it just a bit spicy, good to share with other appis btw 2-3 ppl, it’s tasty and heavy. For food i got Indonesian chicken, was soooo tasty and good cooked and not dry. It comes with a sauce was amazing as well not too much, just a bit of taste rice and small salad. We got the half size was enough with the rice, we also dont eat so much. I have sever allergy , they were so understanding and supportive took care of it and had it in mind the whole night.
I do recommend them, TY for having us!

If my review is beneficial for you, pls don’t forget to like it 🙂

Jungle Room has a great variety of drinks, and the cocktails are unique and worth trying. The design of the space was eye-catching, and the customer service was excellent. However, I was surprised that they don’t offer basic sides or appetizers along with their drinks. The food menu wasn’t my favourite, so I recommend enjoying their drinks but having an alternative plan for food. Majority of the the provided foods on the Google review page were not included in the menu of the restaurant.

Went here as a group of 8. They recommended the family style dinner to us ($70/person) but we didn't choose to go with it and ordered several items off the regular menu instead. Therr was a live musician singing and playing bass. Volume was quite loud though. Note that there is a $55/person minimum spend. Ordered a lot of different thongs so summaries below:
- welcome to the jungle: small portions, maybe enough for 2 or 3 people, good for tasting a bit of everything, oysters tasted like nothing, the rest flavor wise was 5/5
- laksa bombs: deep flavor. The truffle topping was quite salty though (overpowered the umami of the truffle), was one of the better tasting dishes though 5/5
- green papaya salad: a bit sour, no peanuts, wasn't my favorite 2/5
- japanese potato salad: really liked this one, it's similar to the pickled potato salad, the ramen egg was quite salty though (suggest mixing it in with the salad to balance) 4/5
- lumpia spring rolls: fried to a nice crisp, 5/5
- grilled octopus: okonomiyaki was okay, octopus was nicely grilled though, not chewy 4/5
- bone marrow: very rich, had good flavor, went well with the bread 5/5
- cumin and miso mussels: okay, didn't have a strong miso taste, couple of the mussels had some sand 3/5
- uni soba: had really high expectations for this one and was let down, it was quite sour for some reason which killed the uni taste, it was poorly balanced in flavor, wouldn't recommend 2/5
- pork belly: nicely grilled, very fatty cuts of meat, 5/5
- beef ribs: flavor wise it was okay but did taste a bit dry, the cucumber gado gado was very good though 4/5
- Indonesian chicken taliwang: the sauce was really what made the dish, the chicken was alright, coconut rice not too bad 4/5
- Golden hour: decent drink, couldn't taste much pandan flavor, 4/5
- honey don't: it was really bitter, was told it was due to the 2 oz of alcohol in the drink (3 peopke in our party tried it and all agreed it was really bitter), disappointing nonetheless 2/5
- maracuja gimlet: it's a cocktail with a chocolate on the side, okay 3/5
