Manque de nourriture ,ont a repasser plus tard a leur demande car trop occuper ...et revenu par la suite pour une porte fermer avant la fermeture...

The best Eggs Benny in a cape Breton yummers !!

Also stopped in again this morning April 13, 2025 for an excellent western and pancakes with blueberry sauce and whipped topping! You get what you pay for.. best breakfast anywhere in the Sydney River area !!

Friendly staff, huge breakfast menu! We had breakfast a bit late, around 1230. Was out late the night before, watching a local musician Aaron Corbett.

Coffee was not great. Also, they took about 15 min to serve our coffee.

I ordered the fish cake breakfast with poached eggs, medium. They came hard. Fish cake was dandy but it was a lot of potato.

Wife and dad got eggs Benedict, dad says “it’s wicked” but wife says “sauce is good but the muffin is doughy.” (I thought it was right on though, I had her snap me off a bite.)

Daughter enjoyed her banana French toast!

Cute little place, I’d probably come again some time!

This sums up this place perfectly. No nonsense diner-style comfort food in a no nonsense atmosphere. Come here to eat and be satisfied.

Food is great but I’ve been denied ordering more than I’ve been able to order due to them not allowing pick up orders during certain times. They have a great breakfast, the ultimate bowl is my go to meal but I’ve only been able to get it one in every five times I try to order, including my call a few mins ago. Whoever made this policy seriously needs to rethink it, I see others the reviews have had the same issues as I have. Very Disappointing!

We have eaten from here several times over the years, both breakfast and dinner meals. The food has always been delicious. The ultimate breakfast bowl, banana french toast, rueben sanwiches and all their potato dishes are amazing. I would go here and order from here more often, if I could. But there open hours are not regular and there are rules about when you can order take out. I'm sure these rules serve a purpose, but they are absolutely a deterrent to getting food here. I can't count the times I thought about going here and then didn't even bother trying because of past attempts. They are cash and etransfer only. The cost is also quite high, but the food is delicious.

I have 2 experiences here. First sat along the wall no problem. Second visit sat in the relentless sun squinting to talk. Staff rushed out 2 tables around us felt rushed to leave. Coffee was not good. The food is good not great.

What a cool breakfast spot. Only saying breakfast because it is my first time here and breakfast was the meal we sat down for. I am sure lunch and dinner are equally delicious. Trust me when I say you will not leave here hungry! Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
