Difficile d'établir un jugement car l'endroit est sympa , l'hôte hyper sympa mais l'ensemble est un peu bordélique. Bref si vous êtes un voyageur cool c'est ok , si vous êtes chabada prout prout évitez. La gentillesse du propriétaire a gagné notre faveur.

On my way to Vancouver Island from Edmonton AB decided to spend the night at this lovely lodge and I was not disappointed at all. I was greeted by the hosts Robert and Brenda and made to feel right at home. This was the perfect place to relax after driving for many hours. The are is nice and quiet and the perfect getaway form the busy city life most of us are used to, so much that on our way back we decided to stay there again. The house was clean and the beds comfy with super soft sheets. Just what we needed after many hours in the car. This time around we decided to take advantage of the kayaks and explore some of the river. It was beautiful and we even saw an eagle just a few feet away catching a fish. The beach was very family friendly and the water nice and clean. Thank you Robert and Brenda for the amazing experience and we will for sure see you again in the near future. Maybe this time we will have enough time to have Robert take us Sturgeon fishing. Heard he’s the best in the area.

We recently contracted for exterior maintenance work at the Kilby Bed and Breakfast we decided to enjoy the accommodations and other amenities while there. What a beautiful place and the hospitality was outstanding!! Excellent location for that full on great Canadian outdoor wilderness experience close to anywhere on the Fraser Valley, and a prime fishing location with access to world renowned holes all from one boat launch right at the door. We also rented kayaks and did some fly casting near the hatchery where the eagle/bird-viewing was outstanding. Darcy is a charming host and the family that was also staying there enjoyed a quality time experience from what we could tell - while watching them on the stunning beach when working on the roof. We highly recommend a visit if you want a great escape very close to home... RS

All I can say is thank you, thank you THANK YOU!!!
Robert and Brenda made our quick visit a true highlight of our BC vacation from Austin TX.
Communications were perfect and check in as easy as it gets. Super comfy beds with tons of pillows for every preference. Nothing short of Southern hospitality as we were invited to both brunch and dinner. If you are real lucky, as we were, you might catch Brenda making the best pies I've ever had.
The beautiful beach with incredible water is literally a one minute walk and there was plenty of areas to relax in both sun and shade. I highly suggest taking a left at the beach entrance and heading towards and under the bridge for a very secluded area.
A short stroll will take you to the old historical Kilby General Store and longer walks along the dyke were perfect for giving an overall scenic download.
Loved, loved the peaceful kayaking adventure as well.
Do yourself a favor and enquire about the sunset private beach option with a boat ride and picnic...it truly was one of our favourite experiences of our whole trip.
I tip my cowboy hat in great appreciation for Brenda and Robert giving us such awesome, life long memories. Cheers and see you again for sure, as I'm coming back with my Sturgeon fishing license and taking you up on that tour!!!!

Robert took us out for a sturgeon trip end of September on the Fraser and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. He was AWESOME, extremely knowledgeable, and we bagged 5 fish, including an 8 foot behemouth! Was an amazing experience, would definitely recommend for anybody that wants to get out and have an awesome day fishing, regardless of experience level with fishing (us four didn't have a clue what we were doing!).

My husband and I booked a full day of sturgeon fishing with Robert and we had an amazing exeperience! We definitely had the time we were hoping for-the fishing was great. Robert was an excellent guide and the lodge is very nice. We would definitely book again and highly recommend the Kilbylodge and fishing to others.

What an amazing place to stay when you want to get away from the busy city life. Decided to give this place a try on our way to Vancouver Island from Edmonton AB. Both Brenda and Robert were fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable with the softest sheets. The house is located 2 minutes away from the beach and river where you can go swimming and the whole area is very down to earth and peaceful that we decided to stay there again on our way back to Edmonton. This time we took advantage of the kayaks and spent some time kayaking on the river. The scenery is absolutely breath taking. Even saw an eagle just feet away from us catch a fish. As I travelled with children Robert and Brenda made sure there were little treats for them as well. Will for sure be going back there in the future. Thanks Kilby Lodge.

Went sturgeon fishing with the host Robert he is a great fisherman/guide. He is down to earth and very friendly and respectful. Next time I stay in Chilliwack I will be staying at his bed and breakfast and will defiantly book 2 days fishing with him. Thank-you Robert from my family and I. We look forward to seeing you again we just got home and are planning our next trip out there !
