Experienced the Kinark outdoor centre while participating in a SoulFull camp recently and just have to rave about the centre and amazing staff! The cabins were absolutely a joy to stay in from being spacious, clean heated plus having your own indoor washrooms including shower! The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations! Meals were always served hot and delicious! Certainly will be spreading the word about this location to others who wish an amazing facility to host camps or corporate team building events as there was so many offerings it was hard to decide what to do and only having two days wasn’t long enough to take it all in! Just a few photos of the lake and beautiful colours of trees!

We’ve just returned from our second Autism Family Camp and we already miss it! Staff are kind, engaging, and helpful and the activities are inclusive and so much fun! This is a safe, inclusive and unique place to spend quality time as a family and try new things. Highly recommend!

I have been to the Kinark Outdoor Center twice. Last year, 2023, I went with my sister, daughter and granddaughter, for 2 nights. It wasn't nearly long enough. I was extremely impressed with the beautiful landscape, accommodations, etc. The activities included boating, arts and crafts, nature walks, and a host of physical pursuits. But what makes it such a special place is the staff. I have never before encountered a team of professional young people who were as compassionate, patient and competent as the staff at KOC. They are what makes the experience so special. This past September, 2024 I went with Camp Exodus. The group included children, parents and grandparents, and was phenomenal! We had the fortune of staying 3 nights, and it still went by too quickly! Again, the staff showed their expertise in the way they encouraged all the participants to try the very challenging physical feats-the wall climbing, static (obstacle course), flying squirrel, etc. As opposed to being pushy, they exhibited the utmost patience, particularly with those of us who had our reservations (mortal fear, lol) of heights, etc. Trust me, if they got me to go on the flying squirrel, which they did, they are patience personified. They help you to conquer your fears. This is one of the many gifts you take with you and apply to your day to day life.
I would like to acknowledge Michelle, Fahima, Beth, Zoe, Jordan, Emmi and Jack, in no particular order. I apologize if I have left anyone out, but everyone at KOC is a superstar.
This review would not be complete if I neglected to give high praises to the wonderful chefs, namely Steven, his lovely wife, Marcia, and Mr. Porter, who kept us well fed with delicious meals, and takeaways for our trip home.
In addition, there are the behind-the-scenes staff who ensure our cabins are clean and move-in ready, upon our arrival. They also ensure that the dining room is clean before and after meals. Thank you!
Anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to spend time with amazing people, make new friends, take in magnificent nature, push yourself and rejuvenate, KOC is the place to be. I recommend it hands down, 100%, and hope I get the chance to go again and again and again.

The staff at Kinark has done a fantastic job of teaching our students how to navigate a canoe. They also genuinely care about the students and make connections. Brit made sure everything was organized and all our activities ran smoothly!

We recently held one of our women's retreats at Kinark Outdoor Center and loved it! The accommodations and facilities are clean, modern and inviting. The team is amazing and were great to work with. Looking forward to being back at Kinark again next year for another Soul Full Camp!

Amazing staffs, they are very nice and friendly to every visitors. Our kids were enjoying staying here for thanksgiving 2022. Even food is kind of disappointed, but consider they are short of manpower in thanksgiving, it is understandable, but definitely have room for improvement. Thank you! This place is great! So many activities to enjoy! Rock climbing, hiking, boat riding, canoeing, high rope, etc. We had fantastic weekend there! Staff is so supportive and friendly! Thank you, Claire and Sam, who were our guides! You made our experience unforgettable.

Excellent facility and staff, Beth was so lovely and helpful and really helped make our stay special. The grounds were beautiful, everything was clean and tasty and the activities were really fun (and safe)! The lake, although smaller, was absolutely stunning.
