Our stay was perfect! The bedrooms are so spacious, comfortable, beautiful and clean. Pierre & Candace deserve more than 5 stars! They are the best hosts we ever had. Pierre would make snacks for the guests anytime, and would make sure we can enjoy the heated swimming pool. Candace has the best advice regarding the things you can do in the area. The food was delicious, made to order and served at the time of our choice. Amazing experience, we were treated like King&Queen, but also like family. We can’t wait to go back and we highly recommend! Thanks again 🙂

Our stay at the Kings Inn was an incredible experience. Candy and Pierre were gracious hosts. They made sure to make us feel at home the entire time. The antique furniture and decor made for an authentic setting. Kudos go to Pierre for the cooking lesson on making a French omelet. The food was delicious!!! It’s a great place to stay especially if you are planning to tour the wineries in Prince Edward County as it is only 20 minutes away.

The outstanding service made us feel very special. They pampered us from the time we arrived until we left. Pierre took our bags to our room and showed us around the property. We stayed in the King Suite which was spacious, clean and lavishly decorated. The dual shower was amazing. Candy provides turn down service in the evening. Since Pierre is a gourmet chef, we arranged to have dinner at the inn. He took the time to see what we liked to eat and prepared an exceptional meal that was fit for royalty. His squash lasagna is to die for. The breakfast was made to order with French omelet, French toast and home made Belgium waffles. We also loved the fact that they keep the pool warm at about 86F. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon!

This was the best overnight stay my family and I have experienced. Pierre and Candy were amazing hosts, and to say the hospitality was impressive, is an understatement. We were treated like an extended part of their family, and feel like they became part of ours. I've stayed in many hotels and B&B's, but none compare to the King's Inn. Pierre is fantastic in the kitchen and I believe I've never had such an amazing mix of flavors and experiences than what was prepared for us for breakfast. 5 stars is not enough, and to limit my rating as such, is cruel and unfair. 50, 100, 1 million star rating is what is deserved.

Candy and Pierre have beautifully restored a 19thC home in Trenton and turned it into a clean, comfortable, hospitable B&B with gracious hosts and AMAZING food. Candy makes sure everything looks perfect, and Pierre serves up the best custom breakfasts I've had anywhere: anything from Belgian waffles, to seafood crêpes, to steak & eggs, available upon request! (Pierre is very knowledgeable about food from all over the world, and he and Candy were a pleasure to have conversations with.) The room had everything we needed, and there was lots of space inside and outside the house to sit back and relax, plus a heated pool in the backyard. All in all, a delightful stay!

We loved every moment of our stay at The Kings Inn. The place and the hospitality are beyond words. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Pierre is an exceptional chef. I will never forget the first bite of the food that he made! So delicious!!!! We highly recommend this B&B for everyone. We can’t wait to go back in the future. What a fantastic weekend that we had. We are blessed!

Our family stayed here for a weekend while attending a wedding in Trenton.
The Inn was close to downtown, an easy walk to restaurants and the river.

The Inn itself was a beautifully restored mansion of a house, with a wonderful cozy atmosphere in every room.

Let's start with our hosts. Pierre and Candy were wonderful, warm, entertaining people. We felt like family within a few minutes of arrival.
Information on anything in Trenton was readily available from them if we asked. If you felt like company, they were readily available for charming conversation, or you could retreat to one of the multiple main floor rooms and curl up with a book beside one of the many fireplaces.

Pierre is an awesome chef and we were treated to our choice of breakfast foods which included omelettes, crepes, true Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict, bacon, etc. Each morning began with the aroma of maple syrup wafting upstairs to the bedrooms to entice us down to breakfast, at the time we agreed upon the night before. Talk about catering to our needs!!!

A Buttery room was available for our coffee and tea needs with quite a selection of each, including espresso.
The bedrooms were large and cozy, each with a fireplace and a private bathroom.

Our hosts continuously offered little treats from their personal food stores, including some of the best salsa we have ever tasted.

At the end of our stay, it was almost sad to go back to our 'normal' lives at home after being so totally pampered at the King's Inn.

We will most certainly stay there again in the future.
