This is a dream come true..
If you are looking for the ultimate relaxation experience then look no further

Kitoki Inn offers extremely comfortable cabins for your stay complete with a mini kitchen, stunning view of the nature around you and even complimentary breakfast items!
The star of the show is their outdoor bath experience which reminded both my husband and I of our stay in Japan a few years back. Everything was extremely clean and organized, and they offer enough time slots so everyone can enjoy a soak in both the morning and afternoon/evening.

On site is an adorable tiny shop where you can purchase gifts or snacks to enjoy as well as a variety of books and games to borrow during your stay. The owners are very kind and work hard to keep Kitoki Inn one of the most wonderful places to be on Bowen Island.

Thank you for a lovely time!!!
We hope to be back soon ❤️

🌿🏨🌿||We stayed at the Kitoki Inn for two nights in September 2023, and I can't stop thinking about my experience there. The simple design featuring minimalist architecture, sparse furnishings, and Japanese gardens created an atmosphere of relaxation and connection with nature. It was a very quiet and private stay. We never saw or heard the guests from the other two cabins. We loved the luxurious bedding and the high-end bathroom products and enjoyed the various teas provided in the well-stocked kitchenette. ||Our favorite part of the entire experience was the exquisite onsen. There's something truly magical about soaking in warm water while surrounded by the beauty of nature and hearing trickling water from a fountain. We even had a tree frog visit us while we were soaking in the bath.||Overall, our experience at Kitokki Inn was nothing short of exceptional. We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in the forest. I'm always checking the booking site for cancellations.

If you are looking for a unique Japan-inspired experience, the Kitoki Inn is the place. It is somewhere you can disconnect and relax - the cabins are beautiful and cozy. The private bath house sessions are reminiscent of a Japanese onsen. There is a tiny shop where you can buy unique local or Japanese gifts.|Because there are only 3 cabins (each with 2 adults, max), you rarely see anyone - even check-in is keyless and contactless.|The owners ensure every detail is taken care of for your comfort. If you're lucky enough to get a reservation (minimum 2 night stay), then go for it - you won't regret it.

We had the pleasure to stay at some wonderful places over the years, but I think it's safe to say that this is the most beautiful place we've ever been. The care and thoughtfulness that was put into Kitoki is unlike anywhere else we've ever been. From the beautiful shortbread cookies that are paired with the guest guide, to the wide variety of teas available in the kitchen, you truly want for nothing.

Checking in is contactless, and for people who prefer to have their solitude in the woods have some actual solitude, this was a great start. On the first day we thought that 90 minutes for one bath house session might feel too long and couldn't imagine doing that twice a day, but between the rain shower, the hot bath, and the warm wood stove outside, we melted into puddles by the end of the first session.

The cabins themselves are works of art. It's obvious that everything from the ceramics to the bath robes were lovingly selected, and even the way the lighting was set up was beautiful at night, casting a warm glow while you curled up with your tenth mug of tea and read your book. Something about the fresh cedar walls and sprawling window overlooking the forest demands a quiet stillness.

The 'shop' meant that many of the thoughtful pieces in the cabins we had come to love could be brought home with us, and any need or want for a snack, a cheese board, a book, a yoga mat, or even a hot cup of tea were either available to borrow or to purchase.

What Kitoki has managed to do here is truly special - they have created a place that is simultaneously simple and luxurious.

Kitoki Inn is an amazing getaway from the city. Everything is so thoughtful in every way. It is carefully and meticulously set up and clean. The bath is so relaxing. I loved being in the minimalist cabin that is aesthetically pleasing. You really get to experience some of the Japanese way of being. The nature and beauty that surrounds you feeds your souls. I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back.

Kitoki Inn is one of the best retreats you can book on the west coast. No kids and maximum of 2 people per cabin makes this the best place to unwind. It requires to be booked a year in advance, but it will be worth the wait.

The cabins are extraordinarily clean. It is outfitted with luxurious kitchenware made in Japan, as well as premium towels from Itsumo. The bathrobes are from Pokoloko. It is minimalist, but luxurious. The bedding and pillow is super comfortable. Complimentary yogurt, artisanal granola, premium tea leaves, and scones are prepared for the stay.

The private bathhouse is the highlight of this boutique hotel. It is also very clean. The bath overlooks a zen garden lined with tall trees. Each cabin gets a limited time to enjoy the bathhouse, two times a day, on a first come first serve basis. There is also a wood burning fireplace in the garden where you can warm up while enjoying the outdoor scenery. Full nude is allowed in the bathhouse. It is a humbling experience to be naked outdoors. Not to worry it is fully a private area.

What's unique about Kitoki Inn is that their gift shop is by the honor system where you write down what you take from the shop, and you will be charged later. Only in Japan & Korea will you find this sort of practice commonly, but to see it here in Vancouver proves that we should still have faith in each other.

Bear in mind there are few more rules guests have to follow compared to a typical hotel. However it makes the stay as private and high quality as it can be. Highly recommended.

Kitoki Inn has 3 private cabins and a Japanese-style bathhouse. Each cabin is meticulous with amazing amenities. The bath and bed linens and bath products are divine. The kitchenette is extremely well supplied with a fabulous selection of Japanese teas and coffee. A. delicious, healthy breakfast is provided each morning. The bathhouse is magical. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the water fountain and crackling fire is a memory I'll never forget. If you're looking for a relaxing and super romantic retreat, this is it. Lots of nice hikes in the area and restaurants to walk to. Lovely gem. We'll return for sure!

One of my favorite places to escape to. Only if I can get a reservation!!! Not too far from Vancouver but feels like it is. Serene, away from the hustle and bustle. No microwaves and tvs. No distractions or noise. Enjoy slow cooking, get the music on, read a book or just enjoy the silence. Also don’t be afraid to come here by yourself.
