We had a good breakfast here before we carried on for our final destination.
Locations was good, just on the main heading out of town.
Server was great but the place was very busy.
I would recommend this place for a good meal to start your day!

Great little spot, convenient for snowmobilers. I slammed back the beef dip and some fries. Just what I needed. Great staff, friendly and fast.

This was our first visit to Haliburton and we were lucky to find this restaurant just before they closed. We ordered their Friday fish and chips special for take out .We had the two piece with fries thinking for a light lunch to share at the lovely park near by , turned out we were full for the rest of the day ! The fish and chips were excellent, thick large pieces of fish with a light batter. As good as you get in the UK!! Thank you for a delicious lunch at the park !!

We are locals who have been coming to the Kozy for 15 years. We recently came in for breakfast and thought the Big K breakfast sandwich looked inviting. A $15 sandwich called the Big K, what could go wrong?
What we got was 2 slices of soggy bun, a paper-thin slice of peameal (yup, just one), a slice of mealy tomato, and a lettuce leaf that was literally black around the edges.
Oh well, every restaurant can have a bad day, so I went back for a work lunch this past Thursday and ordered a California Club Wrap. $20 for a wrap, but ok. There was no sign of the promised avocado (the whole reason it's called "California", I would guess) and the shredded lettuce tasted off. I stopped eating after a few bites and stuck to the fries (they had run out of soup) and then spent the remainder of the afternoon hanging over a toilet bowl: food poisoning! I am still recovering.
You get used to the surly waitstaff and the lengthy wait time from the kitchen - part of the local charm, I guess - but the quality of the food here has severely slipped, the prices are sky high, and now they can't keep their produce fresh enough to avoid poisoning guests? Never again!

I ate here twice between a week long stay at the nearby Camp Timberline. The first time I had the waffle and the second time I had the pancakes. Both times I really enjoyed the food (you can't tell me the attached photo of the waffle isn't drool inducing lol). The service was really good but I think they're understaffed because it took a while to be approached the first time I was there. As for the atmosphere, it's pretty country - perfect considering the location. I will definitely make this part of an annual tradition. Well done guys!
