I adore Labo. Everything on the menu feels special, whether it's a tasty experimental drink, warmed up local pastries, or just a really good coffee. The staff are incredibly friendly and make sure to greet everyone warmly and strike up conversation when they're not too busy. The interior is very cozy, there are places to charge your phone and lots of seating. They are also committed to supporting their community, with a bulletin board, displays from local artists, and collaborations with other local events.

Easily my favourite cafe, I love passing an hour or two here during the week when it's less busy (it could do with some better acoustics during the busy hours). I also get so excited to try their new drinks when the seasonal menu swaps out!

Cute place. Fun drinks! The only reason I rated it as a 4 is because there was little to no food options. But the matcha egg nog was a great drink, in addition to their other selections. Definitely worth visiting!

Coffee - I’m going to go on the complaint here but it’s a trend that I notice most of these local coffee shops don’t provide. They off alternate dairy options, but why not the basic one, just plain old lactose free milk. The almond and oak milk alter the taste and they’re full of estrogen.

Donut - great idea with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Service - one thing I don’t like are the shop that are asking for a tip before you even taste what your getting -1 star.
Girl at the counter I give props to for trying her hardest as you can tell she was new.
Owner of the shop that sat there and watched her struggle and chatted with customers -1 star.

Atmosphere is on par for what Whyte ave is delivering these days. Doesn’t blow my mind but it does for some people.

Their slogan is "coffee for the curious"

I was curious about the name of the drinks...because I cannot pronounce half of them ... had a little chat with the owner and I can tell he has a passion for the business, he cares about his drinks and is always looking for room to improve.

I tried 2 Experimental Drinks.
1) Laberry Tea, which is an earl grey base, with berries and whipped cream on top. It tastes sweet and sour, very refreshing.

2) Pi- not Colada. It's a Pina Colada with a small twist.
They have a soft opening for 2 weeks. Grab your friends to try all the drinks!

Great experience. Great staff. Would highly recommend to whoever wants to try creative latte menu. Absolutely loved the vibes it has to offer. Good place to work out of.

Cute Scandinavian aesthetic, creative takes on coffee shop classic like the breaky latte and the sage mocha, friendly staff and a well curated music playlist demanding chill vibes, great space for a quiet morning.

Labo has an incredibly welcoming and cozy atmosphere. It's a new favourite place for me to bring friends. The seasonal and experimental menu options mean that there is always something new and exciting to try. I am still thinking about the refreshing strawberry matcha from the summer menu! I also really enjoyed the pastries that were available.

All the baristas are super friendly and local artists sometimes have their work showcased there. There is also a public art board where you can make and pin your own drawings which is very cute. All in all a fantastic place to get coffee and hang out!

I’ve been coming here regularly since they opened earlier this year, it’s a fast favourite! The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable and i enjoy my time here.

They have some unique and exciting options and change their menu seasonally (off the top of my head, the malted latte and the matcha white chocolate hot chocolate). Even the standard items are stellar, their London fog is by far the best in the city, imo!

For food items i really enjoy the chicken deli sandwich, this was a wonderful addition to the menu!

The ambience is both bright and warm, i appreciate the energy that people bring to the space, too.

I highly recommend Labo to anyone who wants a nice beverage/experience on a cold day!
