Came with my daughter’s grade 6 class for outdoor education trip. Has nice hiking trails with some information posted on some tree to leave more about natural herbal medicine. We had the opportunity to do snowshoeing for the first part of the trip. Very fun and educational experience.

We go here often because it's close by. Lots of variety and we love the creek that runs through the east side of the property but the last few years alot of trees have fallen making the trails a bit of an obstacle course. Entire loop only takes 1/2 hour, a person could do some zig zag and maybe stretch it out to 1-1/2 hours.

Nice place to take an easy hike, lots of short trails that take you in a loop. Difficult to get lost. They've done some work fixing some of the bridges and walkways that had wooden boards breaking, which is great.
If you come in spring/early summer expect bugs.
If you come spring or fall it may be wet.
Lots of people think this is an off leash area, it is not. That can be frustrating when you are walking with a child or an on leash pet, but that is not the fault of the park, but rather it's users.
Be aware of wildlife. It lives there, and has every right to be there. I came within 10 feet of a coyote while I was walking my dog (on leash, 'cause I'm no hypocrite!).
Parking is minimal, and there is no parking on the road.
