Belle propriété: antique, authentique, simple. La chambre était grande e le lit confortable. La salle à manger était paisible. Le service de Robert est courtois et sobre. Nous étions bien situés dans la vieille partie de la ville compte tenu du prix abordable.||C'est un lieu riche d'histoires et c'est un privilège d'avoir résidé dans un bâtiment qui a été rénové en respectant les matériaux et le style de l'époque.

Bien situé, on peut tout faire à pieds. Le proprio est bien gentil mais peu présent... On aurait apprécié un petit déjeuner plus diversifié... Ceci dit je retournerais dormir là ne serait-ce que d'avoir la chance d'être dans une si vieille et belle demeure.|Prix raisonnable et endroit hyper propre.

This was our third time to stay at Lennox Inn. ||Having a love of history and appreciation for a simpler time will suit you well here. Robert has resurrected a gem, restoring and preserving its original presentation yet managing to blend modern amenities like wifi, bathrooms, etc. into the facility without ruining the rustic charm. For example, there are no televisions, for which we were grateful, and the spare furnishings and decor more accurately represent the late 18th century style. ||The Tavern Room best reflects Robert's attention to correct detail, showing off period-accurate colors and designs. Ample breakfasts are served there, although we most enjoy the convivial atmosphere and our fellow guests.||Lennox Inn is not a mega-mouse-kingdom resort with fictional, faux historic themes. It's the real deal with allowances for modern amenities. We look forward to our next visit!

We were somewhat apprehensive about the Lennox Inn before arriving, based on some previous reviews (musty smells, etc.). This was a last minute trip along the coast of Nova Scotia, with Lunenburg as our destination. So not much planning went into this one. When we called (several hours previous to arrival), the owner, on trust, said he would hold two rooms for the four of us. After a few delays on our part, we arrived to find rooms that were clean, large, well (and historically) appointed. We shared a bathroom, which did not prove to be a problem. The Inn is centrally located, minutes on foot to downtown.||The Lennox Inn seems to be a genuine labour of love for Robert, the owner/inn keeper. In each room is a detailed, and fascinating, account of the Inn's history.The restoration was personally undertaken over several years by the owner. Yes, there was a smell, but I loved it. Just the odor of a very old, historic building. NOT the mould we were afraid we might find.||The breakfast was varied, plentiful and, thankfully, homemade. The oatmeal/porridge was a standout. Actually cooked!

The Lennox Inn made me feel like I should have arrived on a horse and wagon---it felt that authentic. The story of its renovation made it even more interesting. ||Some of the details really stand out---such as the stenciled wooden floors, fireplaces, plaster walls and four poster beds.||Despite the 18th century feel, the availability of wi-fi was from the 21st century. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods. The coffee was excellent. ||Glad we found this historic gem.||

myself and my family stay for an overnight and could not say enough positive reviews for Robert and his magnificent inn. we totally enjoyed the history that was found in every corner of this beautiful place and Robert was a fantastic host. we highly recommend the Lennox Inn and will definitely stay there again👍

While visiting such historic town as Lunenburg, we were looking for a place to stay with history itself. Lennox Inn not only an oldest working Inn in Canada, but it also has been restored to its original 18th century look and feel! ||||Incredible experience stepping into history. Bed was very comfy and we had a good sleep. This place tickling your mind and transferring through centuries, but no worries, we didn't spot any ghosts 🙂 ||||Breakfast was another surprise, Robert (an owner) paid attention to every detail – dishes, cutlery, classic recipes. Even glasses were made as they had been made 200 years ago!||||Thank you Robert for such an amazing experience!
