This gym is okay. I pay around 380 dollars a month for myself and two daughters 7&9. My girls aren’t overweight or anything however, they see how into fitness I am and want to make fitness apart of their lifestyle. Each time my daughter has tried to work out with me ( light hand weights, core exercise on the yoga mat and walking on the treadmill ) staff has told my daughter she cannot workout. My children don’t need daycare lol , they want to workout and be healthy/active.

We also paid for the outdoor beach club access ( I think 300 or 350 i can’t remember) and honestly it’s not all that… the pool is pretty shallow and it’s really not worth all the hype once you get in there.

In addition to get a personal trainer can cost you an additional 1000 plus a month.

I will be canceling my membership because it’s really not worth it. The hours are kind of trash too compared to other gyms . Plus front desk staff seem to always have a stick up their butt.

I’m happy to be saving pretty much 400 a month and join a gym for less money but has quality staff and more convenient hours.

I’ve been a member at Lifetime for a while, and I honestly can’t justify the pricing anymore. $219/month plus tax for an aging facility is just insane. You’d expect cutting edge equipment, perfectly maintained amenities, and standout service for that kind of money but that’s just not the reality here. The gym isn’t bad, but it’s far from luxury. Equipment is getting dated, maintenance is spotty, and the overall vibe just doesn’t match the premium they’re charging. It feels like they keep hiking the price for no clear reason, no major renovations, no significant upgrades, just a higher bill every year.

You’re basically paying luxury prices for a mid-range gym. There are plenty of fitness centers offering more updated equipment and better value at half the cost. Unless they seriously reinvest in their facilities and stop these constant price increases, I can’t recommend Lifetime to anyone who actually cares about getting what they pay for.

Lifetime Fitness is hands-down my favorite gym in Toronto! The space is massive with a fantastic vibe—never feels overcrowded. They have a huge variety of machines, so you never wait to work out. The hot tub and sauna are spotless, and I love that they provide towels and other amenities. The overall experience is top-notch, making every visit a pleasure!

While at a premium compared to other gyms, lifetime has ample equipment and space if you're still keeping keeping distance.

I believe there are more classes starting as they were decreased over covid.

My son loves kid academy and the swimming lessons. They have a spectacular outdoor pool.

Edit: after several years as a member the influx in people and changes have really begun to show the flaws, change rooms are very dirty and the quality trainers are starting to leave. Weights are never returned to the appropriate places. Kids academy programs are limited and many of the spas and steam rooms are constantly out of order. Also, guests are now restricted to weekdays only. To make matters worse they’re increasing my payments by 20% claiming massage chairs and new equipment but the bare minimum is still lacking.

My wife and I have been members of this club for a while now, and we enrolled to this club for childcare for our 5 year old son. We had a few questions about our membership, and when we visited the front desk for guidance, we had a disappointing experience with a staff member named Mercedes. Unlike the rest of the front desk staff, who have always been courteous, Mercedes was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to assist. Her tone quickly became irritated when we asked follow-up questions. The way she addressed us felt more like she was speaking to children than to members. This interaction was uncomfortable and left a negative impression. I believe she would benefit with some customer service training…

Additionally, given the substantial revenue Lifetime generates, it’s surprising that there are only three massage chairs available. The wait times are consistently long, and I haven’t even had a chance to try one.

The men’s change room also tends to feel overcrowded, often with kids running around—at times, it feels more chaotic than relaxing. That said, I want to acknowledge the hard-working caretakers in the change room. They do a fantastic job maintaining cleanliness.

Considering the monthly fees we pay for our membership, it's hard not to feel that it's overpriced. To make matters worse, a friend of mine who recently joined was charged excessively for both the outdoor pool and the membership—especially during the summer season. It’s disappointing to see new members being taken advantage of this way.

I am returning to the gym, after a two year hiatus, and I am so excited for this journey! Life Time is a beautiful space with extremely knowledgeable staff and great energy! Thank you to Ryan and Lori who both assisted me day one, prior to my first session. You both are QUEENS!!! Luke has gone above and beyond, helping me to get started with sound advice that fits my goals and health needs. He has been so awesome at keeping me motivated and engaged in the workouts. I am loving the yoga classes and thrilled to try Arora classes too. Very happy to be a part of the Life Time family!

This gym is honestly one of the best I’ve ever been to. The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, the layout is spacious, and the atmosphere makes it easy to stay motivated. The amenities are top-notch, from the change rooms to the little details that show they care about the members’ experience. Menka at the front desk is absolutely the best—she’s always welcoming, friendly, and makes every visit feel personal and positive. Adnan is also fantastic. He’s super helpful, incredibly informative, and brings a lot of insight into fitness and overall health. You can tell the staff genuinely care, which makes all the difference
