Hidden gem in Simcoe’s downtown. The atmosphere was interesting as they had an assortment of groceries, bongs and lingerie for sale🙃. That didn’t take away from the fresh delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. The portions were large, I left stuffed. The meal I had was a tad on the greasy side, but that was my only food complaint. Solid 4/5 for me. They do have a patio outback, we elected to eat inside.

Hands down the best Mexican food in town! I had the Camarones diabla (Shrimp plate) and it was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portion was generous, and the seasoning had the right amount of kick without being overwhelming. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend !!!

We were driving through Simcoe on our way to Port Dover for Father’s Day when my daughter insisted we stop at Lily’s Tacos. She’d been a few weeks earlier and said it reminded her of the tacos we had in Mexico.

If you're craving an authentic taste of Mexico, this place is a must. We ordered the 4 Taco Special ($24). We also grabbed a pre-made cinnamon milk drink (not listed on the menu, but I believe it was leche con canela).

On the way out, we spotted some orejas ... kind of like a churro, but without the cinnamon and sugar.

Lily's is just off the main street and 100% worth the stop next time you are driving through.

Oh, and they have a patio.

Lily is a fantastic chef. Henry is very helpful as well. Grace who rang us up was very patient and explained everything to us. The lady that first explained the menu to us was so nice! We live just north of Toronto, and the food we had here was better than the Mexican restaurants we have been to. That is including Toronto. Quality ingredients and their friendliness makes this the best Mexican restaurant! We will definitely be back for more delicious food and to chat with all of them again soon. Thank you!

Delicious food and outstanding service! From the moment my wife and I entered we were welcomed and assisted right away. We ordered the shrimp tacos (medium heat) and the carne asada. The shrimps were on point and flavours were really good! The tacos even come with 2 tortillas so they don't break easily and you can actually enjoy it! Great detail! My wife had the carne asada and she even had enough to take some home for later, great portion if you are hungry! Very authentic!You can tell the love is put in our meals right down to the homemade sauces. Overall a really great hidden gem in Simcoe !

This is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. True authentic Mexican food. We rode all the way from Toronto to just try the tacos and they were worth the drive for sure. We met Lily and her husband and they were just amazing and super friendly. The entire staff was awesome. Can’t wait to go back again

Authentic Mexican experience, the flavours and atmosphere with a friendly service from the owner .She made our lunch a unique experience in Ontario. We tried the Tacos, the enchiladas,the quesabirria , enough for two for the right price, thank you Lily, we’ll definitely be back
