We stayed one night and were impressed by the warm reception and tour we received from William on arrival. The first floor gallery was impressive, as was the decor throughout. We had a beautiful view from our balcony, and found the inn to be easy walking distance from restaurants. Our room was immaculate, and we were impressed with the homemade quilt. The bathroom was modern, and supplied body wash. Breakfast hours are a little early for travellers wanting a slow start to the day, however the homemade assortment was fantastic! Deborah was great assistance in helping us to map out local destinations. These hosts compliment each other to provide the best possible service for a vacation stay! We would definitely stay again.

My wife and I, and a close friend, stayed for two nights at The Linc in Lunenberg. This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at. The B&B is the second storey of a lovely gallery. Entry to the B&B is via the gallery. Lovely. The two rooms were beautifully appointed and both had partial views of the harbour in this delightful town recognised by UNESCO. The continental breakfast each day was outstanding. The hosts, Deborah and William, made us feel very welcome. They provided us with fresh coffee an hour before breakfast, as requested. They gave us useful information and hand drawn maps of the best places to visit outside the town. We did all that was recommended. They made a significant effort to ensure a bag we had left behind was sent to us the next day.

This small B&B is centrally located in Lunenberg with everything in walking distance. Nothing is too much trouble for hosts William and Deborah. They had prepared maps of local attractions and beauty spots and managed to find a kayaking firm for us,, at short notice. The rooms are tastefully appointed and very comfortable. However , the real highlight of our stay was the breakfast, everything homemade and tastefully presented. Perfect for a weekend break.

We stayed at Rooms @ theLinc for 5 nights during the last week August for a short break in Nova Scotia using Lunenburg as our base to explore South Shore, Bay of Fundy/ Annapolis Valley and Halifax. The location was great, the property was conveniently located in Lunenburg central to the restaurants, and Deborah and Williams were the perfect hosts; charming, helpful and welcoming in every regard. We didn't realise when we booked but the property only has 2 rooms; the Suite where we stayed comprising bedroom, bathroom and lounge area with a balcony overlooking the town/ coast, and another en-suite room but without the lounge area (from what we could tell). The room was nicely furnished with a colourful decor and a good size living space with a couple of relaxing arm chairs. When we first arrived I was a little worried that the queen size bed might pose a problem with sleeping, given my wife and I have a super king size bed at home, but what it missed in size was made up for in comfort and it proved to be a cosy affair - almost romantic! Breakfast was prepared for between 8am and 9am and we usually arrived around 8:30am to be greeted with a tasty, tenderly made continental breakfast consisting of lots of home-made goodies such as freshly cooked scones, banana soufflé, home-made preserves and yoghurt, granola, baguettes, fruit, and so on. All made with TLC that very morning. Over breakfast William provided some great options to explore Nova Scotia with numerous hand-drawn maps detailing more personal areas to visit, which are clearly quite personal to Deborah and William, that you would not necessrily find on any tourist guides. This included hints and tips with routes, trails, nice places to stop for lunch (the crepe house in Wolfville - not to be missed), and numerous other suggestions to enrich your stay. William and Deborah would then leave you to enjoy breakfast in privacy, which achieved a nice balance of being helpful but in no way intrusive. The following morning we would share our previous day's experience and partake in some engaging conversation chewing the fat on lots of topical issues. Deborah and William could not have been nicer and very kindly invited us out for a farewell drink the night before our departure at the local pub. Over a short period of time it felt like we had come to know the couple quite well and the the offer was pleasantly received and enjoyed over a couple of pints of local ale. We spent most of the day on excursions typically arriving back at around 18pm to drop our car off and head out for some dinner. The restaurants in Lunenburg are literally 5 minutes walk with Grand Banker being our favourite (covered under a separate review). Whilst there is metered parking immediately outside the hotel we had no problems working around the free zones before 10am and after 17pm (excluding Sat/ Sun which are free 24x7) and there was plenty of space to accommodate our rather large `Dodge Durango' upgarde! On a couple of occasions we took the opportunity to simply wander the streets admiring the beautiful properties that make Lunenburg such an appealing location to stay - got some great photos of some truly beautiful homes. We were provided with a key so when we returned between 9pm and 10pm we would let ourselves in and generally have a fairly early night ahead of our next day's adventure. The other guests staying at the property were typically European with German and Dutch couples staying in the en-suite whilst we visited. We didn't buy any artwork but the gallery walls are adorned with some beautiful photos taken by William, along with some crafted items for sale. Deborah and William are simply charming and our stay was enriched by the help and guidance provided, which ensured we maximised our time in Nova Scotia.Rooms @ theLinc provides a reasonably priced B&B in a great location, with wonderful tour guides who could not be more engaging and helpful.

My husband and I stayed one night in a suite with a small balcony. Wish it could have been longer. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of Lunenburg harbor from the front room. It is located in the center of town - walkable to coffee shops and restaurants as well as the waterfront. We found on-street parking fairly easily as well. Will definitely be back if ever in town again.

We were fortunate to book two evenings at this ideally located B & B. Debbie and Willie were wonderful hosts. Each morning we were greeted with Debbie's gourmet breakfasts and Willies wonderful hardy scones/breads. The accommodations were very comfortable. Debbie and Willie are a font of knowledge. We were provided with maps and recommendations which made our stay memorable.

Down stairs was an art gallery, clean and well maintained like the rooms and the building. The whole town is a unesco site so all the buildings have character. It is situated in the middle of town which allows you to walk every where. The wonderful breakfast was the best in our month long trip to the east. Going to Luneburg this would be my number one place to book. Thanks William and Deb.
