Little Brick is an extraordinary find that beautifully blends history with a modern dining experience. Set in a quiet area of the city, this charming spot makes stunning use of an old landmark, giving it new life while maintaining its nostalgic charm. The atmosphere is truly something special—whether you choose to sit inside or in the picturesque outdoor seating area, you’re surrounded by a serene environment filled with lush trees and vibrant flowers. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The food at Little Brick is nothing short of amazing. Every dish was crafted with care, and the flavors were absolutely delightful. Each bite was a pleasure, with the presentation of the dishes making the experience even more enjoyable. You can tell that the chefs take pride in their work, focusing on both the taste and the visual appeal of each plate.

What really sets Little Brick apart, though, is the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of our visit was perfect. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of, adding a personal touch that elevated the entire experience.

Overall, Little Brick is a place where history, great food, and exceptional service come together to create a truly memorable dining experience. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a meal in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

I am not sure how I have lived in Edmonton for over 10 years and never discovered this place. First thing is it felt like home when I walked into the place. The service and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I had a waffle breakfast sandwich and a chocolate cookie and my friend chose a scone and a birthday sprinkle cookie. It was all very tasty and I will definitely go back to try more of the items on the menu. As for the coffee, we ordered a salt caramel latte, and a couple rounds of Americanos and this totally made my day. Love the atmosphere here and love the local coffee. Please make a point of finding this gem in Riverdale sometime. Have a good day!!

This place is cute, has history, tons of outdoor sitting and is a quaint find in the quiet neighborhood of Riverdale. Parking was surprisingly available right in front, but I was there at 10:15, and the place quickly filled.

The food is good, great ingredients, properly executed and plated. I had the eggs Benny which was reasonable @$15, and my brekkie mate had the scramble platter, which came with two thick slices of toast. His appeared to be better priced at $19, but he added sausage and with two coffees (mine a salted caramel latte) the price quickly shot up. That can happen in finer fair eateries-which this is.

Downsides - this is not a coffee refill place, and I am not asking them to be, which is why I had the special latte. I knew this when paying for our food first and quickly doing the morning math. There are other fine breakfast establishmentsr that do not offer refills (I just don’t frequent them).

Enough on the coffee. In viewing my Benny (as I slowly stretched my eating pace) my brekmate mentioned “they could have gave you a hash brown” alluding to a smaller plate. We laughed a little and had I took the time to view the menu more closely, I would have seen that “extras” are a la carte (I did say the Benny was priced “reasonable”).

I am sure that this will not hurt their business though, the crowd overall appears well to do. If you are a trucker looking for a hearty breakfast and refills on the coffee, this place is not for you, stick to outer roads and stops in the city. Your ride will likely not fit in the neighborhood anyway.

All in all, this was a special treat and a very special visit today!

Pleasant ambiance and the employees were welcoming. I had the griddle stack sandwich which was a fantastic combination of sweet and savory. My compatriot had the monte cristo, which he described as “thanksgiving in a sandwich”

Loved the cozy vibe . The food was delicious .. we tried the egg’s Benedict- yummilicious . The breakfast sandwich and the burrito was great too . The scones were not too sweet and the mocha and cappuccino were great too . Lovely .. warm .. cozy experience . The staff is polite and pretty friendly. The drive to the cafe was fun too . Overall : a really good experience
Highlight- the serve the 🍳 with focaccia rather than the usual bread and do have options for sourdough bread .

Chai latte is sweet but tasty! I had the eggs benny, my first egg with focaccia was tasty! The second one, not so much. The focaccia tasted like someone accidentally added way more salt than normal. Please be careful for next time.

🤩 so delicious! Peaceful surroundings in the middle of the city. They have tent and patio seating, as well as inside the building.

Cappuccino was great and the earl grey tea in the London fog was definitely a star. We had the breakfast sandwich with potatoes and pulled pork sandwich. Everything was delicious and home style. The buns were soft and flaky, paired really well with the fillings. 5/5 stars experience!
