So me and my boyfriend went on date night and ordered the nachos with ground beef and two drinks. These nachos were probably the best nachos we’ve ever had. They were totally delicious.

I recently visited Local Public Eatery in South Common and tried their fried chicken ramen. I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of savory and umami that kept me going back for more with every bite. The fried chicken was a standout—crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and tender on the inside. It complemented the broth perfectly, adding a nice texture contrast. The ramen noodles were cooked to perfection, and the entire dish was well-balanced.

Aside from the food, the atmosphere at Local Public Eatery is fantastic. The vibe is lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a fun night out, this place delivers. Highly recommend giving their fried chicken ramen a try—it’s comfort food done right!

If you are a sports fan, this is the place for you. Tons of screens. Maybe I was hungry but my dish was outstanding. Blackened chicken curry. Perfect amount. I did not leave hungry. The server was nice enough to take a photo for us. Clean place with lots of parking. The patio looked great too, with high chairs, but the temperature outside was too hot for me today. Wish this place existed in my home town Toronto.

I went with a group of six on a Tuesday night. It wasn’t very busy inside and I think that’s because it was perfect patio weather. The playlist was good and at great volume, and coupled with the nice lighting, the overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable. My server was Dakota who was very friendly and patient with us. The price per meal, including a drink, was very reasonable. I got the Spicy Chicken Quesadilla which was delicious, but on the spicy scale it was a 6/10. There were a lot of great options on the menu that I’d love to try. My only complaints are the steak to fry ratio in the Steak and Fries and the tight space beneath the booth tables (I realise that this is isn’t really changeable.) The bathrooms are clean, with full door stalls, and a beautiful floor to ceiling mirror. Thank you Dakota for being our server!

Came here last week. It was our first time. My partner decided to get the fish and chips. When it arrived it looks overcooked, it was tough. We didn't say anything since we don't know if this is the way how they cook it. But when I scrolled to their photos we saw photo of fish and chips . It looks way better than the one we ordered. Hopefully next time we go there it would be better.

I ordered fried chicken ramen. Broth was so refreshing, also adding grilled corn is brilliant idea. But fried chicken was slightly over cooked.

Our server Melaina recommended the grinch drink and it’s super cute and yum! She was a great server with the recommendations and quick service! Ask to sit in her section.

Ordered from these guys after I fell in love with their Caesar salad on jasper ave. My order came with the burger incorrectly made and bacon on said burger undercooked. The salad was served as two romaine hearts fully intact. Upon speaking to a manager, I was made aware that the salad is supposed to be served that way and that the mistake with the burger was through DoorDash software rather than them. They authorized a full refund of the burger and a partial of the Caesar salad. Initially I was happy with this, but I once again do not believe the lettuce is able to be washed properly if it is served this way. I have come down with a nasty case of food poisoning after eating the salad and have been sick for 12 hours. I do not have it in me to believe that this is in any way a coincidence and I am very upset about it. The good news is I guess I will never crave this salad again.
