Fabulous 5*. I am currently staying at Florence and Gordon's place on Cheticamp Island. The home is perfect. In an afternoon, I have seen 2 seals, one bald eagle and countless other seabirds off the cliff that is their backyard.The home offers the best of all options (ocean front, inland lake in the distance and mountain views). The hosts are generous, accommodating and very interesting to talk to. The fire in front of the ocean was great as well. The bed is comfortable with a private full 4 pc-bathroom and the log home is exquisite and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this home, without reservations.

I would give this place 6 starts if I could. Florence and Gord were most gracious hosts. They provided a clean, comfortable room in which to stay. It also helped that the view of the ocean from our room was breathtaking! Breakfast was delicious and was a very welcome treat before our excursions along the Cabot Trail (which was conveniently close by). A wonderful home and even more wonderful hosts 😀

The cabin was beautiful and our room was very clean. It had a cozy feel and having our own bathroom with shower was very nice. The ocean view the spectacular and we left the window open to hear the ocean waves when going to sleep

Florence and Gord are the most gracious hosts a guest could have. The breakfasts were phenomenal, the room was awesome, the view is fantastic. Location is perfect. Great experience, loved it.

A Hidden gem for travellers. A beautiful log house on the coast. Traditional B and B at its best. Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly and tentative hosts. Highly recommend.
