Our experience at Loralea was AMAZING!! We got the lil hideaway cabin which is perfect for 2 people. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable! The owner was great, he showed us around and helped us with alot of things. The place is so clean and beautiful and it's also very pet friendly! We will definitely be coming back and try another one of their cottages! Thanks to people at Loralea for making our stay so fun!! 😊

We stayed here 2 wks ago and had a great time.
Cottage has great amenities and is very well kept. (Sapphire)
Kitchen and bathroom were fabulous. Nice linens in both rooms and good towels too.

Hosts were wonderful. Randy took us on a quick tour and showed us everything.
It was a little warm for sleeping at night(late July)despite windows being open(i'd bring a small fan next time) although 2nd bedroom did have a nice fan provided.
Water pressure in kitchen sink was poor, but shower was fine.(it just took a while to fill to wash the dishes)
There were lots of things included (toilet paper, paper towels, linens, fire wood) which we have always payed extra for at other places- that was a nice surprise.
Lake was calm and nice for swimming.
French fries next door are tasty too.
We would gladly return here again!

My husband, 5 month old son and I loved our stay at Loralea this fall! Our cabin was cozy although we spent most of our time outside on the beautiful grounds. There are so many fun activities included in the stay (canoes, peddle boats etc.) and we especially loved the fire pit areas where we could gaze up at the stars! Speaking of views, the lake and coloured leaves were stunning! We would love to experience every season at Loralea. The wonderful hosts Suzy and Randy told us about the winter activities including a big toboggan hill they set up every year which sounds like a blast for kids and adults too! Suzy and Randy were so welcoming, helpful and kind. We look forward to seeing them again soon, thanks for an awesome getaway for our family!

My family had the pleasure staying for a weekend this fall. We had such an amazing time, the property had everything we needed!! We enjoyed the canoes, paddle boats and used the volleyball court. The cottage we stayed in was freshly renovated and kept so clean. The beds were very cozy as well. Our kids played around on the playground and there was so much space to run around while we sat back and relaxed. They were so sweet, and would help us if we needed anything. We will be back to these cottages very shortly to enjoy another stay.

We are becoming regulars here and every time we get here, we love it more than the last time. We have stayed in a few of the cabins now and the upgrades are amazing. The hosts (Randy and Suzy) are so welcoming and more than willing to help with anything. Our last stay here in the fall was beautiful, but we can't wait to come back this winter to try ice fishing for the first time! It also helps that the mattresses are high end and so comfortable to crawl into after a long day of fresh air, and because any cabin you're in is always so clean, we can turn on a fire and walk around in our bare feet. Talk about a beautiful spot and fun for days! This is such a wonderful family retreat. We had the pleasure of staying with a large group of friends all with our children and had such a heart warming stay. The owners are incredibly sweet and go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. The lake and grounds is truly picturesque and there is endless activities provides by owners for our family to participate in. We will most definitely be making this an annual stop. The home away from home 🙂

My family and I are repeat guests at Loralea Country Inn Resort. We've been every season, though I have to say fall is my favorite. My wife loves the summer, largely for the lake access and all of the water activities that the resort offers. For our first stay we booked the newly renovated cabin on the lake in Fall of 2020. Our extended family decided to have a thanksgiving there and it was perfect because even though we were all together, everyone had their own space/cabin to go "home" to. I say home because that's what this place now feels like to us, a second home. And this is why we continue to choose Loralea. Suzanne makes booking a breeze, and once we're all checked in, anything + everything we need seems to always be covered by Randy. Not once have we felt like asking for anything extra was an inconvenience. They have grandchildren of their own, and you can tell with how kind they are towards our own two children. Every time we go there, we have everything we need in whichever cabin we stay (less food). They are super well kept and always very clean. I could go on, there's a number of reasons why we'll continue to go back to Loralea. Suzanne and Randy operate this place with their heart on their sleeves and it doesn't go without noticing.

This place made for the perfect getaway for my husband and I. We picked the Hilltop cabin and it had everything we needed, and had a great view of the lake. We loved the fire pit and wood burning indoor fireplace. It was only about half an hour to the west gate of Algonquin and the area is very beautiful and quiet. There is a lot to do here including free use of their canoes, kayaks, paddleboard, and you can also play horse shoes or volleyball. Or you can just relax after a full day on the trails and/or shopping. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. They are renovating all the cabins! We highly recommend Loralea Country Inn!
