This has been a scam, and I wish I had checked before booking. Please do not book this place. I am attaching photos to show how my room was supposed to look according to my reservation on Booking.com and how it actually looks.

Unfortunately, that’s not the only issue.

Upon my arrival, the lady in charge informed me that they only accept cash or e-transfer. Despite making my reservation through Booking.com, they refused to accept the payment from the site.

I went ahead and made the transfer, and then they showed me the room. The lady insisted that I pay extra because, according to her, the room I reserved did not have a view and that I wanted the one with a view instead.

She then took me to a different room, but when I mentioned that the bathroom was supposed to be private and not shared, she returned me to my original room. However, there was no bathroom in that room either; she described it as a “detached bathroom,” which was not mentioned in the room description.

While I might have understood the situation, the room she gave me was very sketchy. The carpet had numerous stains, the bathroom did not look clean at all, and overall, the room did not resemble the pictures in the listing. Therefore, we requested a refund. She refused, even though they were the ones not fulfilling their part of the contract, so we left and reported everything to Booking.com.

Please don't fall for this scam. They use attractive pictures to lure people in. We are also filing a police report since they continue to refuse our refund request.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRANDED IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. After booking (and paying) through Priceline, I received an email from the hotel stating they require me to pay for the room again with cash or wire transfer, and call to make sure they have availability. After I already paid for it? Then upon reading the reviews on Priceline, multiple people said the same thing happened to them, and that this place is clearly a scam. I called Priceline, who had a hard time reaching the hotel, and once they did, the hotel apparently said they cannot accommodate us and that they can refund us $55 dollars, when we paid $184 for the reservation? I’m sorry but what? Absolutely terrible customer service from both, the hotel who is impossible to get ahold of, after taking your money and leaving you stranded, and Priceline who’s customer service is absolute garbage.

Edit to add: funny they say my tone was intolerable to staff when they never answered the phone, so the added screenshot of the email I sent them was the only contact I had with the staff, which was also never answered

HORRIBLE SCAM : do not book this place. They accepted my request for a room and then couple minutes before checkin they cancelled it with no explanation.

The lady on the phone was very rude she kept saying go find an another place to book and swore at me and hang up the phone.

They also asked to pay cash or Interac which seemed very sketchy. Please avoid this place for your own sake.

The other reviews must be fakes and this is what I went off of when I rented a room from this “hotel.” I get there and there’s a note on the door saying to either call that number or go onto what’s app and notify them there. That was my first clue something was off. I call the number and a lady answers the phone and asks for my reservation number. She then answers the door and you see two spiral staircases which looked somewhat like the picture. We take 4 steps over to the desk and says “you don’t want that room it doesn’t have a window, but we have another room that does and it’s $200 more.” I said what does the room without a window look like and she stands up, turns around and opens a door that had a queen size bed, desk and a door that led to another room. She said “you don’t want that room. There are other room that are bigger.” I booked (economy double room. At this point I’m on the website and nothing looked like it did in the photos except the front of the house and the basketball court. She asked me what I was going to do because other guests are waiting. I looked around because maybe she saw someone I didn’t because I was the only one there. I said I’m not going to stay here this doesn’t look safe and left. By the time I got to the car my account was charged for the two day and resort fees. This is not a hotel. This is a house where the rooms are rented out. Check other sites that have real reviews.
