Everything was perfect. I’d recommend this place over about any other in bracebridge. It’s good for a date, and the food will probably impress you more than the date will.

The best smoked meat sandwiches I've ever had in Canada. Great food, exceptional service, and keep up the great work! By far, my favourite delicatessen in Ontario. Highly recommended everyone try if you love delicatessen sandwiches and great food. The staff are wonderful too!!

Honestly, I had a lot of hope going in. The looks of it was great, the seating area and spacing great, but I I ordered the BLTG and “upgraded” to a Caesar salad… when I got my sandwich it looked great but I took a bite and it was overly filled with mayo, so much that it was shooting out of the sandwich everywhere which would have been fine if it were a small portion and I didn’t have to take any home. But I did and it was obviously super soggy. I looked at my Caesar salad a knew it was going to be bad. To put it simply I needed some lettuce with my dressing. It was so gross, and I don’t like using that word but it truly was soggy from the start and unfortunately I took one bite and was done. To make things worse, our waiter only checked on us once before we sat for 15 minutes waiting to ask for our bills. once we asked for our bills that took about another 10 which was all very surprising because it’s not that large of an area to cover.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I paid 30$ for a meal I couldn’t even eat from the start because it was drenched with dressing. & I mean drenched! I’m sorry if this was just a bad day but for me it was not worth the cost or the hassle.(also the salad looked exactly like this from the minute I received it, unfortunately. I only took it home to see if my husband would eat it,
so I could atleast not waste it and he was shocked as well and wouldn’t.)

This is the best place to eat! Everything is family made and has so much love put into it. Their soups are to die for. I wish I could eat here every day. 😋🤤 I would post a picture but I ate it all already.

Very friendly server (owner maybe) who happily walked us through the beautiful menu. BLTG was huge and delicious; house made aioli was perfect. Tomato soup was full of roasted garlic. My husband had the harvest salad with chicken and said it was excellent. A great patio and all around wonderful first visit. We’ll be back for sure.

Adding to my initial review:
The hubby and I went here for Valentine's Day dinner. We did not have reservations but took our chances they may have a table. We were met with the most friendly staff! Shout out to Tyson, who did an amazing job at accommodating and serving us. Dinner was FANTASTIC. Had braised beef and chicken supreme.
ALSO - went here a week later with my daughter for lunch. Had the broccoli soup and Greek salad with chicken. She had fish and chips, and we both loved our food! Of note- my daughter despises coleslaw (yes, strong word but utterly accurate). I told her the reviews said it was great so she tried it, and subsequently ate it all. Literally the best slaw EVER. This is one of my fave places to eat. PS - we were served by 2 lovely ladies (names escape me), and as usual the most friendly service!

This was our first time trying Main St. Deli, and we couldn't be more impressed! When our original caterer had a last-minute conflict, Tyson and his team at Main St. Deli stepped in to save the day. Despite the short notice, they ensured everything went smoothly, delivering a fantastic spread for our Christmas party.

The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish was a hit, and the portions were generous. Tyson and his team really went above and beyond, making sure everything arrived on time and in perfect condition, so we could focus on enjoying the celebration.

A huge shout-out to Tyson for his excellent coordination and the entire team for making our event a success. We’ll definitely be turning to Main St. Deli for future events. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food and top-notch service!

I have Celiac Disease and am usually very aprehensive about trying new places for food, especially a deli!!
Well I never should have worried one bit. From when I walked in the door until my meal was delivered, I was re-assured how safe it was for me. I enjoyed soup and a sandwich and had no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this place and will be going back for sure.
