BIL and SIL to us here for the first time in a Friday night. Crowded and good vibes. Waitress was really sweet and gave some recommendations. Once we placed our order we grabbed some games and passed the time until our orders came. After having some trouble with our orders, we were told this brewery just started doing food recently. The food was being made on the food truck outside and being brought in. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn Nachos and asked for it with chorizo. We also ordered Wings, which were supposed to come with 8pcs. And lastly a couple of burgers- 2 Single-Smash Burgers and Nashville Hot Chicken Burger. Both appetizers had a mistake and one burger. It was getting kind of irritating with all the mistakes and the lack of availability of the staff. They were busy so I understand, but mistake after mistake was a let down. I’m sure they will get better, so we would definitely come again to give them a try. They took off the wings due to them only having 6 instead of 8

Stopped by tonight for dinner and a beer. My smash burger was really good. The gentleman who took our order was great. Our server Zahra was excellent! She was attentive, friendly, helpful and full of personality. She is a great reason alone to go.

Have been long-term fans of Mariner, fantastic food, beer and service! Can hands down recommend the brunch smash burger and the raspberry lemon sour! Plus the most authentic Czech pilsner we've had. Keep it up!

Went on a Monday night for the trivia. Had a very nice IPA and the falafel in my smash taco was first rate. I’m a bit of a falafel snob so finding such a tasty one here was a welcome surprise. (I had one beef and one falafel)
Our server was very professional and friendly. Appreciated the test sips of the IPAs on offer so I could decide.
At the end discovered an outdoor beer garden out back that was a little quieter if that’s what you’re looking for
Atmosphere was open and friendly with indoor and outdoor seating.
Bonus fun: our group won the trivia contest!

Mariner is one of our favourite spots to grab a beer and a bite on the patio. Excellent beer, delicious food, and friendly fast service. They’re dog friendly and have good deals too. Highly recommended.

We came in for some drinks and jazz.
There was an issue with steamed dumplings.

Natalie was a doll when it came to resolving and left us feeling seen. She’s great and really appreciated her service! Natalie deserves 5 stars but the overall experience is a 3.

Brunch is great! Breakfast offers healthy gourmet meals, very original not what I’m used to seeing at breweries. I was never a beer drinker but have learned to really enjoy beer after coming here. Recently started making seltzers which are one of my favourite especially the mango lime. Healthy menu, great beers and seltzers, inviting atmosphere all at a great cost. Our new go to place.

What kind of place doesn't put prices on the paper or digital menu for alcohol or mixed drinks? Seems really sketchy, recommend to avoid this place and go to Patina in PoCo or Port Moody brewery row instead. I've never seen a bar, brewery, or taphouse that doesn't list prices for alcohol pours ANYWHERE on site.
