Emplacement central, L'accès n'est pas si facile car le bloc est en travaux mais nous avons fini par accéder au parking grâce à une petite ruelle. L'accueil était chaleureux, les chambres propres et le petit déjeuner correct.

Everything was perfect.
The staff were kind, helpful and very professional.
The room was spit and span clean; the bed very comfortable; the linen pristine white!
I definitely will come back here!

The building is a really cute older style with lots of common areas to chill in and they have a nice little breakfast that doesn't usually come with budget accommodations. Room had some of the issues that come with an older place (awkward fixtures, lil asthetic repairs needed) but the beds were comfy and the Marilyn Monroe theme in my room was super charming!

The staff are absolutely phenomenal and by far the best part of my visit. Gladys and the other ladies behind the desk were friendly, personable, and truly went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible!! Will definitely book in here next time I'm down in Medicine Hat.

Extremely dangerous surroundings. Shady people all around windshiled & side glass of my car were broken in + stuff stolen worth probably a few hundred. I spoke to the manager and she said they can’t even look at the camera clips or show me the clips. Once we moved out (we were just there for the evening and the night) she stared us down & left from the seat in kind if an angry look as if we commited a sin by telling her about the theft from our car. To be clear, this hotel is in an area where there are many drug people and drunk people (you can see at lest 6-8 of them at all times just 20-30feet from the property. As we had booked & paid online we decided to not make a fuss as it was only about a night. Ruined our trip to vancouver. This is a very dangerous/unsafe area and the price reflects that…

The Medicine Hat Villa was very clean and safe, staff was friendly and helpful and location was easily reachable. Room was spacious, bedding and towels seemed new and were fresh.
Some remarks... in the bathroom of our room the sink needed new caulking and the juice was extremely sweet (from powder?)

Immediately found a centipede by the window and the whole room smelled faintly of sewage from the drain in the bathroom floor. Worst mattress I've ever slept on. Most disappointingly, despite the website advertising gluten-free options for the continental breakfast (and despite our having mentioned we would need it when we booked), my celiac husband asked at breakfast and, after waiting for an hour, was told that they no longer stock these items due to lack of demand. Fair enough, and they've now removed it from the website, but someone should have seen our request for gf breakfast in our booking notes and informed us upon check-in if not before. We will not be returning and would not recommend that anyone else stay here.

I didn't say the mattress was old, I said it was the worst I've ever slept on. To clarify for anyone thinking of booking, it's fully memory foam and I slept in a crater all night, but that might work for you.

Don't bother looking into the gf situation on our account, it's too little too late. The website's already been updated and the damage is already done. My husband was left waiting for a full hour without breakfast and received no apology and no solutions.

The hotel itself is nice, rooms are decent and the staff are amazingly helpful and nice. Wouldn't recommend for work stays if you do anything online and are wifi required with how pitiful the wifi service is, slow, can barely connect and unstable.

Haven't had the breakfast too many times however, they are heavily focused on cleaning which is a good sign.

Room service is great so are the staff. Manager was very helpful, the location isn't too bad, some sketchy people out and about at night but everything else is accessible and fairly easy to manage.

Wonderful staff both at check in and check out. The room exceeded my expectations, beautiful wood work and a giant shower. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in over the last few years. It was a joy to stay here. With such a great price, your expectations are low, but the MHV delivered a wonderful experience.
