Fries are great, had the fresh-cut, truck stop thing going on. The real attraction is the beautiful setting. Great place to stop with the family.

The bacon cheeseburger is absolutely delicious. The kids cheese burger was not good. Their fries are decent. We go every summer multiples times during our travels to Port Elgin. The prices are a bit steep, but understandable. The last time we were there the girl started taking our order then as we were speaking she started talking to someone else she was working with and completely cut us off mid sentence to speak to them about something unrelated to work… was shocking honestly. I literally said “oh okay, we weren’t speaking…” she did not catch on.

My friend and I stopped by the Burger Box recently for a post-dinner ice cream treat, and I was pleasantly surprised by how generous the servings were! The service was friendly and quick, making the experience even better. There’s plenty of seating right around the Burger Box, plus lots of picnic tables and benches nearby at the Rotary Park. It’s a great little spot to treat yourself to some delicious ice cream!

Service was good, it is a nice place to stop for a break and have a snack. I enjoyed their grilled chicken wrap! The fish and chips were a bit fatty for my taste but decent.

Such a little hidden gem! The poutine was the best I've had in many years! Lots of options, hot dog and chicken nuggets were a hit with the kids and adults. Ice cream for dessert was a bonus! Will definitely stop by next time we're out here

A nice little chip stand in a beautiful creek side park. Busy on warm a warm spring day, despite the pandemic. The restaurant's picnic tables are closed, but there's plenty of space in the park.
Had planned on getting a burger, but couldn't pass on the daily special, a whistle dog with door stopper (aka coin) fries.

Now THIS Is the BEST place to eat in Mildmay of ALLLL time!!!! EVERYTHING on the menu is to rate a 10 of 10 does NOT COME CLOSE!!!!
I highly suggest saving your hard earned Moolah and 2nd rate anything else served in this town, AND surrounding towns!

The prices are OMG reasonable, and the Portions? I can never eat a serving! That's a fact!

The lineups can get crazy ( if THAT doesn't speak for itself ) as I've talked with customers that drive from Sauble Beach ( an hour away )for Rob & Meagan's home cooked meals.

I personally LOVE their burgers, their Fish & Chips, but desserts? Forget about the diet. 😂 The butter tarts sundaes 😋 oh gawd, I gotta go get me one JUST TALKING about them! The sundaes 😋, and they have 🍦 soft serve ice cream & they even have servings for our fur-kids 🐕🐶 🐈😺.

They too offer gift certificates..
I don't work there, and as they're from South Africa, we only are blessed with Rob & Meagan for a few months sadly!! They starve us for ALLLL of those other months. As I won't waste my cash at ANY other restaurants in town, especially Ha*l"y's... Waisted cash!

Yea, I love the setting as well, as the food trailer has itself set at the Mildmay Rotary Park with the Saugeen River running throughout that park, with ample picnic tables, a children's playground, and a direct access to Mildmay's Spring Water everflowing taps ( please leave a small donation in helping with maintenance) and bring your own bottles/ jugs.

The entire experience is well worth the drive for the entire family.

Well..... What are you waiting for.. Give Mom or Dad a break
