First time trying this an I might as well puke my guts out now! Hair in the patties!! And the blonde light hair tall guy was NOT wearing Gloves and scratched his head I’m beyond disgusted by this place I hope it shuts down this is a health hazard

Tried for the first time tonight I was so excited to finally try it what a disappointment.I won't be returning its expensive for the quality. One small chicken strip for this whole sandwich. Which was extremely soggy and had the texture of microwaved chicken the lettuce also tasted limp and microwavedi ended up throwing out my sandwich because it was quite gross.
.Once firehouse subs opens this place will struggle for business.

What a find! Nestled in Tamarack just off of Whitemud Drive on 17 street, we found a wonderful place that satisfied all 4 youth that I was with. We tried the avocado bacon grilled cheese with lots of bacon, the meaty BBQ Godfather, the classic poutine, and kids meals. We also tested out the pina colada and Oreo milkshakes. Everything was delicious and the place was clean and the owner was fantastic. Another gentleman came in and told us to try the double stack next time. Try it out today!

What I ordered vs what I got. Tasted half cold, meat tasted like its been sitting or was frozen or something. Not great. Won't be ordering again.

This is a tiny little joint — two 4 person tables and a longer table that holds I think 10 people. We were the only people there and no one else came in while we were eating.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch, we both got a sandwich and a poutine each, I also got a small chocolate shake. Our total came to $60 which felt a little pricey to me, but 🤷🏼‍♀️

The food was pretty good, I got the regular Philly cheese and the Nashville chicken poutine, he got the Nashville chicken melt and bacon ranch poutine. We both enjoyed our sandwiches, the bread was crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. I always struggle with sandwiches and things not having enough sauce and feeling dry but I didn't have that here at all. Both my sandwich and the poutine had more than enough moisture, if anything I think my poutine maybe had too much gravy? Which I don't think I've ever said 😂
But everything tasted really good. The poutines were quite large and neither of us could finish our poutines so we both brought ours home.
I'd eat here again!

I am back again and there is new wonderful staff here to see. I am even happier to see how busy they really!! Completely packed house when I walked in on a Sunday.

I can confidently say that 'The Smoke Stack' at Meltwich Food Co. is among the finest sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of savoring. The flavors burst with life, and the cheese-to-meat ratio is perfection, creating a delightful, juicy masterpiece. This sandwich is a true culinary gem, and I can't wait to return for another savory encounter.

However, it's not just the exceptional food that keeps me coming back to Meltwich; it's also the extraordinary staff. The level of politeness and kindness they exhibit is truly remarkable. During every visit, I've been greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. In fact, they're so considerate that they wouldn't even allow me to leave a tip! Very expensive for the food received. Cheesesteak served on a small burger bun, not the hoagie bun usually used for cheesesteaks. Mushrooms and onions were burnt. Lots of cheese though.Half filled bag of fries and very thin milkshake. Shake is very small for the $7 price. The only part which kept this from a lower score was the service.

Honestly I debated about leaving this review because the guy wasn't exactly RUDE but I'm still so annoyed about it that I am. My husband and I sat in traffic for 20 minutes on Friday evening wanting to try this place. We'd heard good things and were looking forward to it. We walked in and there was no one at the till, two customers sitting at a table together. When the employee finally came out, he said "I'm going to have to refuse you service because I'm just too busy". I laughed because I figured it had to just be an employee joking around but nope, he literally refused to serve us because he wouldn't be able to take our order for 20 minutes, then turned off the open sign after we left. There were TWO people sitting there. I know you have food courier orders but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect your priority be the people standing infront of you in the store. And to specifically say you're refusing service, and because it's BUSY?

I don't think we'll be trying this again. Just overall a terrible experience.
