Inefficient service. Always have to wait as there is barely any staff st the desk additionally the system too is slow. Why even 2025 we can't put a scanner there for sign in.

When scheduling a room rental for a kids party where we planned swimming, online schedule stated public swim with slide open til 2pm then a switch to diving boards(of which i saw none?) Day of found out public swim started at 2pm. I do blame usability of the website as its City of Edmonton, and every process was just that, a process. On top of booking a room for a party admission to facility is required is another reason to the review, lesson learned and a heads up to others I guess as better options are certainly out there.

It's a good med size facility, the gym is good, but the single showers are useless because the water is hitting your skin like a pressure washer, and you must hold one of your hands up over the sensor above your head to start the shower. You can't take a hands-free shower, no control of the volume of water, and you can't change it to warm or cold

Older rec centre. Wave pool and drop in equalize, fitness centre and racquet ball courts, ice arena. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Decent price. Seniors discount from 11 am to 1:30 pm Monday to Friday.

Very nice recreation centre, swimming pool have waves 🌊 so much fun for kids 🧒🏊‍♂️highly recommended 👍🏻

The waves at this pool are amazing, although it's not a good place to go if a person would like to do laps. Rating overall, I would give it a 4 star.
When it comes to the staff, that would be a no star rating. Every single staff member there was so rude, not one of them smiled at all. It seemed like they all really disliked their job. I would have to recommend the management look into hiring people who actually would like to work here and want to interact with the public. Clearly, these people do not. I don't think I will go back to this pool, at least not until they get new staff.

There is little to no security available for your belongings while using this facility, so patrons… beware. Their facility is not secure and the change rooms are broken into regularly. Unfortunately we have become victims of theft due to the lack of security/employees. The fact that this theft occurred and 8 lockers were broken into by crowbar and was not stopped is unfair to people using the facility. It is warned to not bring valuables into the building, however what are patrons supposed to do with their belongings while in the pool? This location is currently being targeted by career criminals who know exactly what they are doing and the Rec center has done absolutely nothing to prevent this from happening. They simply hand you a printed form of where to call if you’ve had your belongings stolen. Hard to do when your cellphone gets stolen from your locked locker. These criminals can hack into phones to hack your personal data, and unfortunately this has resulted in us losing a $1500 phone and thousands of dollars in charges to cards. The theft occurred and was NOT announced to anyone, my husband didn’t even know he had been victim of this crime until over an hour after it happened, once he was done in the pool. Had the patrons been notified of a theft that just happened, we would not have these thousands of dollars of charges on our cards. The fact that patrons weren’t notified immediately is disgraceful!!! We will not be returning and will not recommend this location.

Great place to watch hockey seating area is amazing nice and warm and the pool is also crazy good. only downside is you have to do a swim test but that’s fair.
