Quel accueil au Millstone Manor de Nanaimo. Audrey, Steve et Brisco, le labrador vous reçoivent chaleureusement des votre arrivée comme si vous étiez des amis attendus. Audrey vous a concocté un de ses petits déjeuners fabuleux qu'elle vous dépose discrètement dans votre "suite". Steve vous emmène faire une ballade en forêt avec Brisco, vous fait découvrir la flore de la région et vous invite le soir a partager une bière près de son feu de camp. Un rêve! Le lendemain, moyennant 25 $ CAN, Audrey vous reçoit dans sa salle à manger d'apparat pour vous faire goûter le plus bel" afternoon tea" que vous puissiez trouver sur l'île. Le matin de votre départ, tout le monde est là pour vous saluer comme des amis. Un seul mot: Bravo!

Nice quiet seclude B&B yet close to everything. Lovely room and the bed is extremely comfortable you will drift away in just a few minutes.||Audrey and Steve will make you feel at home right away and lets not forget Brisco and the cat after all what is a home without pets.||Whatever you do you have to try Audrey's cooking. She prepared the best meal we had during the entire week we were there, I took my wife to a fancy restaurant for her birthday while the food was good Audrey's cooking was far superior. On the second day we had pancakes Liz and I did not bother to put any syrup on them, why mess with perfection, they were that good.||It is not just the food it is the attention to details, she knows when to leave the room to give us quiet time and when she is in the dining room she is the perfect hostess. She made me feel like a millionaire dining in a very exclusive club.||If you are in Nanaimo this is the place to stay.

What a gem…such a pretty, quiet, well equipped little cottage in a gorgeous location. They are dog friendly so our pup really enjoyed exploring the area. Audrey and Steve are so welcoming and the little treat of Nanaimo bars was very thoughtful. Definitely recommend and hoping to return.

You couldn't meet nicer hosts! I booked in unexpectedly when my father had an accident and was hospitalized in Nanaimo. Steve and Audrey went out-of-their-way to give helpful advice . The room had a huge bathroom, my own sitting room with electric fireplace (cozy) and a super comfortable bed. And they accept pets. It certainly was an amazing home away from home. It is out in the country and it is so peaceful and relaxing. I slept incredibly well. What a great find it was!

For my wife and I quiet is KING! Away from the hustle and bustle is perfect for us. We were through Millstone 5 years ago for our 25th and when we planned a 30th wedding anniversary vacation back to Ucluelet we quickly decided to return again.||||Audrey and Steve are lovely and very approachable people - we love that!||They have a lovely property just outside Nanaimo with all the peace and quiet you would need...but it's only minutes to whatever you might want - restaurants, food, gas, etc.||||The setting is beautiful / our room was a very nice size / well appointed and the Nanaimo bars in the room don't hurt!! Lovely home with beautiful antique furnishings. ||||Our kinda place for sure!!!||||We loved meeting Alex the resident kitty!! We are cat people with 2 at home.||||Jacqueline and I are shower people - so it would be even more perfect if this suite had an enclosed shower instead of a handheld one. It's just a preference and we realize there are many bath folk out there.||||||We wish Audrey and Steve many more years of B & B operation if that is what they choose - to share their home with others! It's hard work and takes a special someone to do it well.||||Thanks for sharing your home with us on our 30th wedding anniversary.||||We would not hesitate to return again.

Our family of 4 recently stayed in the cottage at Milestone Manor. We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very comfortable and roomy. It had everything that we needed. Being a family that loves the outdoors, the surroundings were perfect. Just outside the city limits, it has a wonderful country atmosphere. At the same time, it is closet o everything, great hikes, recreation and any shopping required. The hosts were very nice, welcoming and accommodating. We hope to be able to return soon.

Millstone Manor was an excellent discovery for us. Pet friendly, extremely comfortable, very peaceful and tucked away in a secluded area of Nanaimo - it was everything we were looking for. The owners, Steve and Audrey, could not be more accommodating and helpful. Perfect for self catering too.

We just returned from a 2 night stay at this B&B; my husband and I stayed in the Gate house to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon initially walking in, I just couldn't believe how cute the place was. We loved the retro décor, and the king bed was so comfortable. I usually take awhile to fall asleep, but in that bed with no kids around...I was out like a light very quickly. We were welcomed with a tray of Nanaimo bars, and couldn't help but notice the huge cinnamon buns for the next morning's breakfast. Speaking of the food, it was to die for! We loved how it would be snuck into the fridge while we were out, and all we had to do the next morning was bake it and eat. Its funny because never actually met the owners; they really do give you your privacy! Everything was very neat and clean...we really have nothing negative to say. We'll be back for sure 🙂
