Very authentic Mexican food spot in the city, the Al Pastor was my favourite from all I tried.

Highly recommend the burritos from here and the wet burritos.

Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service is very average and could improve for sure. But great small little spot for great food!

I found this place while traveling around Langley, I stop by and checked the menu, Its the first tome I see “Gringas” on the menu so I order a combo with Orchata water. For a quick and delicious mexican linch is great, cozy place and good prices, definitely a place to consider while in the neighbourhood.

I can’t say enough great things about Miltomates Taqueria! The customer service was truly outstanding, and the food was absolutely incredible. We showed up late, but the staff welcomed us with open arms and warm smiles, making us feel right at home. Every bite was a testament to the passion and quality they put into their dishes.

Thank you for such an exquisite experience—this is more than just a restaurant; it’s a must-visit culinary gem. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is absolutely incredible. I love the Mexican decor and the authentic drinks, but most of all the food is unbelievably delicious. My husband and I can't order burritos anywhere else now! The steak burrito specifically is phenomenal.

We tried the tacos & the burrito. Our complaint is that the protein (we tried chicken, beef, and pork) were all dry and a bit chewy. The other components of the burrito were good tho!

The tacos Al pastor are delicious. I enjoyed tasting their food at the Mexican Independence event last September. They are so good that people wait for the food for almost 30 minutes in the middle of a big crowd. The staff were organized and friendly, trying to give the best service possible in a popular event like this

What an experience this was. Was at the gas station across the street, say the tent, heard the music, and the grill smoke. Drive over to try it out.

Tacos are 9.50 on Sundays. Wow, that's a deal, for how many? Just one, they say. What? Oh, but they are a larger portion than usual, and the meats are fresh charcoal grilled. Hmm, ok. I'll have two. Ok, take this ticket outside and they'll prepare your order. There's a toppings bar, self serve. Ok, cool.

Tip? The machine asks. Err, what? Self serve, no table service, a tip for what?

After 10+ minutes of waiting in the parking lot where the grill was setup, I'm finally given my two freshly grilled tortillas topped with a bit of fresh carne asada, on top of a paper plate. Mmkay, what looks like 5-inch tortillas with a pretty ordinary amount of meat on top. Just under 20 bucks. For 2 of 'em. Toppings DIY. Ok...

Looking at the toppings, among other things, including salsa (which they refilled after the gentleman before me asked), they were out of pico de gallo. I ask, can you refill the tub. They're out, they say. No way?! I ask. Ask again inside. They check their fridge again. Out of pico de gallo. At 4pm. At a taco place. For the price. Totally speechless.

My conclusion is, they are essentially in the business of ripping people off. This is too egregious to be a one-time thing. In the industrial area, charging insane prices for ridiculous portions yet still making it DIY, still asking for tips, and a calling it their Sunday event with live music and all. For very average, DIY parking lot tacos that should be a third of the cost. What a rip-off.

Edit: your team definitely has some PR experts. Nice deflection on your reply, comparing your Surrey industrial parking lot (rent must be on par with downtown Vancouver pricing, right?), DIY, mostly-out of toppings on launch day, single sad plain taco on a paper plate. Yes, let's make our pricing per taco on par with fancy sit-down, full service downtown vancouver restaurant. Wow, yeah, convenience store hot dog vs japadog, they're the same thing, comparable right?! Your offering is an absolute ripoff, and I hope you realize that soon enough.
