We visited Mind Hack while on tour and had an awesome time! We did the Greenleaf Heist. Very fun room with lots of collaborative puzzles! Our game master was Anna, who was an exceptional host! High energy, clear pre-game instructions and also a great sense of style (unrelated to the escape room but still slay girl).

My friends planned the start of a bachelor party here at mindhack. They made a custom series of rooms and between them and my best man, made a spectacular experience.

We've gone and done multiple rooms here throughout the years and always left thinking they were the best rooms we've experienced in the HRM. Last night was on a whole other level as Lisa went above and beyond to make our friends bachelor party an unforgettable experience.

I’ve been to many escape rooms (over 45) and my group and I were very disappointed in the customer service at this location. The game master seemed very unenthused right from the introduction. We requested hints for the same puzzle repeatedly for almost 20min, and the hints that were being sent seemed prewritten and were suggesting things that we had already finished. We eventually figured out that the puzzle had been set up incorrectly and were able to correct it ourselves and move on (we’d been doing the right thing the whole 20min). Given the amount of time we’d wasted on the messed up puzzle, we were pretty far off from escaping, since the puzzles were sequential and we couldn’t pivot to do anything else. Once the time ran out, our gamemaster came into the room and we pointed out the messed up puzzle, but he just kind of shrugged and didn’t acknowledge that anything was wrong. We’d asked if we could have some more time given the mistake and he just said that we wouldn’t have escaped with more time anyways, which was presumptuous and rude. We asked him some questions about stuff we hadn’t managed to solve but he just kept shrugging and saying he couldn’t tell us anything. We left feeling confused and discouraged. The room concept and the puzzles were interesting and seemed adequately challenging (we did Lock Out) but it felt like we were set up to fail and left with no help or encouragement. We aren’t local and travelled out of the way to do this room, and it unfortunately wasn’t worth the hassle.

Lisa was phenomenal in accomodating the needs of my group, Aiden was deft at helping out Lisa as well. They're communicative, adaptable to your needs and great hosts for an escape room! Could not recommend highly enough!

We had an awesome experience as first timers to Escape Room. Lisa was amazing helping us to understand the game and checking on us in intervals. Overall we had a fun-amazing experience. We are ready for the heist experience next time. Thank you so much Lisa.

We did the tohua island room today and it was awesome!. It was just challenging enough for our group but we did escape eventually. Anna was a great host. We all loved her. She made our experience super interesting and fun. I highly recommend the tohua escape room at this location. You Will love it.
