Amazing!!!!
We were just passing through and looking for something to eat, saw all the good recommendations for this restaurant, and decided to try it.
Everything was absolutely delicious, very tasty, fresh, service was great, staff super friendly. This restaurant is a must try.

If you're ever passing through or staying in Swift Current you must check out Miso House! The owners are so kind and hard working and food was amazing. I was staying in Swift Current for two days and went to Miso House after a long day of travel. They surprised me with a few different dishes because I couldn't make up my mind. Everything was incredibly delicious. The bulgogi sushi was one of my faves. I came back the very next day. If i'm ever back in Swift Current I'll be looking forward to visiting this spot again.

The waitress was very helpful and pointed out some of the more popular options on the menu. I was a tad disappointed that there was no oyakodon (chicken + egg donburi) and ordered the chicken teriyaki and the dynamite roll instead. She immediately clocked me as being from out of town 😅

There was miso soup included that was served first. It was very enjoyable and a nice opener for the meal.

The dynamite roll was huge (12 large pieces that *almost* didn't fit in my mouth) and a little different than what I'm used to back home. Instead of the usual fish roe on top, there were breadcrumbs. My only critique for this dish is that I wish there was more sauce served alongside the sushi or a bottle at the table that you could pour yourself, as I ran out of soy sauce with 4 pieces of sushi left to go and it got all gummed up by the breadcrumbs.

The chicken teriyaki came out sizzling like fajitas at a mexican restaurant. The chicken was delicious and it was served on a bed of saucy cabbage, noodles, and other veg. There was kimchi and rice on the side. Similar to the sushi, I wish there was more kimchi as I ran out before I finished the chicken (I enjoy having a piece of kimchi with each mouthful). The kimchi was very mild, but delicious.

I would encourage the owners to update the exterior signage, as it only mentions "Japanese Dining". The menu seems more geared towards Korean dining and while the food was well-executed, it was not quite what I was expecting (such as kimchi being served with teriyaki).

All in all, the service was great and the food was a lot better than I was expecting for an Asian fusion restaurant in the middle of the prairies. I would highly recommend it.

“From the very first minutes of our visit, we were deeply disappointed. Despite the restaurant being completely empty, we were rudely told where to sit and our request to choose a table suitable for our child was ignored. The service was not just cold but outright aggressive, and the condition of the dining area and restrooms was extremely unpleasant: dirt, uncleaned surfaces, and questionable food quality. Unfortunately, this place falls far short of delivering good service.”

Gave three stars, as I have ate here before and it was pretty decent. But today was a one star visit. The overall quality was a little weak, and I got bones in my sushi. One piece of salmon had 4-5 bones in it. I had to completely spit it out.
And the kicker, they still made me pay for the pieces I couldn't eat.
I will never return.
