Agréable lieu de rencontre. Les activités proposées sont magnifiques. La fête du Portugal était époustouflante. Les femmes portugaise sont très belles. La musique m'a rappelé Lynda de suza. Bravo a l'équipe qui gère mississauga célébration.

The most happening place in Mississauga. Just few minutes from the famous square one mall in Mississauga. The calendars are packed with all sort of cultural and food fests from all over the world. One can just spend their weekends exploring these events.

Mississauga Celebration Square, aka Celebration Square, is a 4.8 acre outdoor civic square and park in Mississauga, Ontario. It located next to the city hall and the central library. The square's large water feature located in the centre is frequented by family especially when it turns into an ice rink in the winter.

Celebration Square’s Canada day event is an annual festival that includes cultural performances. The event is extremely popular and has attracted over 100,00 visitors each year. The event concludes with a firework showcase at 10:00 pm. It is the finale of the Canada Day Celebration at the Square.

Apart from the annual Canada Day celebration, there are daily activities held in summer months. Daily activities include Splash in the fountain, food trucks. Weekly events include Fresh air fitness, summer sports, farmers market (every Wednesday), open air storytime, movie nights (every Thursday).

As Canada is a multinational country, all different cultures are all appreciated. Each year from May to October, many cultural festivals are held at the square such as Jackalope, Latin festival, Japan festival (the 9th year 2024, my favourite festival), Italfest, Portugalo Fest, Egyptian Fest, South East Asia fest, Middle East Fest, Diwali Razzmatazz. Visitors can taste plentiful of different countries’ cuisines and snacks and purchase many unique artifacts or clothings at the festivals. Folk dancing and singing performances are held at the stage which are enjoyed by visitors. People dressed in their national attires are proudly walk in parades at some festivals. Each weekend there is a special festival attended by hundreds of participants and visitors. The square is filled with lively music and food vendors whilst visitors enjoy the joyful and pleasant atmosphere every weekend.

Really appreciated the City organized these cultural and festive events and other wonderful activities for the citizens. I had so much fun and joyful moments all year round especially at Canada Day, Xmas time and summer months.
