I was going to a wedding in Scarborough on a Friday evening. I live in Ottawa so we were staying at the Pickering Casino and I looked around to find a place to get my hair done. I was looking for a wash and blow dry. I booked my appointment two weeks prior. When I arrived I was greeted and told to wait for a moment and then someone came to get me to wash my hair. Bob was going to style and blow dry my hair. He asked about any concerns and I told him about my sensitivity to showing my ears and an ugly mole I want to hide. He did an amazing job. He added curls to fancy me up a bit and I just loved it!! Felt like a million bucks all night long! Thanks so much Bob! I would not hesitate to recommend you!

I got my hair washed and cut at Modern Touch Salon by the owner, Vali. He was very patient, listened to my concerns and expectations, and did a perfect job. He also explained different hair treatment options without being pushy, which I really appreciated. I also did a half-leg waxing with Munira, who was very helpful and informative, and did an amazing job.

Absolutely Amazing Experience!

I recently visited this salon with a lot of buildup in my hair and overall dryness that made my hair feel dull and lifeless. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The owner, Vali, took the time to really assess the condition of my hair and came up with a thoughtful, personalized plan to bring it back to health. Not only was the in-salon treatment incredibly effective, but Vali also gave me practical and easy-to-follow advice for at-home care to prevent future issues.

After the treatment, I received one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had — it’s flattering, fresh, and I’ve gotten so many compliments already. My hair has never felt this soft and healthy!

I’m beyond happy with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone looking for knowledgeable, attentive care and excellent results. I’ll definitely be returning!

She is a senior citizen that went in unsure of how to address some hair concerns and immediately felt at ease in speaking with Vali at the salon. He was attentive and listened to her concerns and was able to address everything wonderfully to the point she feels it’s the best haircut and salon experience she’s had.
