This family run joint is the only place I found with ice cream in Kananaskis Village. They offer soft serve with a number of flavors. I ordered chocolate, dad got black cherry, mom had peanut butter. The peanut butter was the only one with any real flavor. The others added color and sweetness, mostly. Prices are reasonable, even for the candy. Candy cost little more than in the city, which is surprising compared to other "general stores" in this area.

The staff are friendly and patient - no sighs when my son kept changing his mind or I couldn't decide which flavor.

There is a little seating area inside but I recommend you take your food to the picnic tables outside. There's a pond and waterfall so it's a nice area to eat.

Total hidden gem. We got delicious ramen here and went outside to eat it at the picnic table beside the skating rink. Also reasonably priced at $11. Especially since a lot of the food options at the resort are more pricey. Highly recommend!

Family run and they serve home cooked meals that are delicious. Their curry and teriyaki...as simple as it may be, tastes delicious, homey and well worth the reasonable price! The workers here are very friendly as well. Of course they also serve a variety of other comfort foods like sandwiches, muffins and ice cream. A good place to go for a meal!

Stopped by on the way to Highland Pass. Great place for some Japanese food. We got some coffee and the onigiri for a light snack, but the other items on the menu such as ramen and beef don all looked so delicious as well. Store owner and worker were very friendly too.

Excellent prices ($8 panini) large selection of coffee. What a beautiful place to grab a sandwich and coffee and sit outside enjoying views of mountains

A reasonable choice of food that was ok for the price , was a bit difficult to communicate the order with staff and they had no idea how to make a cold latte. The room is disappointing considering the quality of the rest of village and hotel, a soulless badly furnished space. Boxes and cloths racks like being in a badly run dolar store. Positive was clean and functional toilets.

This is a great option if you're looking for something affordable and within walking distance to the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. This is kind of like a little coffee shop inside of the Village Center which is a 2 min walk.

They serve sandwiches, ramen, soft serve, sandwiches, coffee, and tea. The coffee and tea is significantly cheaper here compared to the other locations within the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. Seems like a family run spot with great service. There are a couple of tables inside and a couple of tables outside.

I got the grilled cheese with egg, and Hubby got the veggie Panini. They were both delicious and the cheese pull was amazing. As an avid tea drinker, there is nothing more delicious than a hot London fog latte on rainy day! Their London fog hit the spot!

I was staying at the Pomeroy for three nights with my husband and wanted to avoid spending tons of money on breakfast every day. Thank goodness for the Moose Family Kitchen! We are vegetarians and were happy to see a few veggie options for breakfast (bagel, breakfast sandwich). We had the E.L.T.C. (egg, lettuce, tomato, cheese) bagel every day. Huge, fresh, and filling. Two bagels with two hot drinks was about $30. The two ladies working behind the counter were so sweet and nice, too! If I ever return to Kananaskis, I wouldn't mind trying some of the other items on their menu as well. The counter is tucked in among a souvenir shop with the typical souvenirs and lots of candy and snacks. Cute place.
