Had the pleasure of staying here, whilst working on a project in the area. Room was clean modern and put together. Reasonable rates quiet atmosphere and comfortable bed. Thanks for your hospitality Morden Motor Inn!

Great low key motel, nice clean rooms all on the ground floor, reasonable prices.
Staff were professional and very helpful.
Rocks Bar was a bonus, real nice, cold beers and atmosphere, locals there were open and friendly.

The good: Air conditioning worked well. Rooms were clean. The price was great. Free bags of ice are available at reception. The location was super easy to find and close to nearby restaurants. When making a reservation, the staff member called us back instead of making us wait on the phone, and we booked without hassle. The person assured us that even though the reception closed at 8 that we could call ahead and let them know when we expected to arrive and they would meet us. Staff were polite. There is lots of parking in the back, but we did not find any designated handicapped parking.

The bad: The water from our bathroom sink only came out ice cold. The bathroom seat was broken, and we slid many times to the right because of it. The bathroom is not handicapped accessible. We didn't have facecloths for a few days, only towels. When we went to pay with debit on the final day, they had admitted that they had us pay in full right away through our credit card. They could not, nor would they reverse it, so that we could pay debit.
There was also zero sound buffer from hall to room. (A visible gap under the door to the hall.) With quiet time being 10PM, it was never enforced, and so we listened to people well past 2AM, and it started all up again at 6AM. Be prepared to hear your neighbours TV or any other noises they make. The hallway echoes all sounds loudly. It honestly would have been worth it to pay more money for the quiet at a different motel or hotel. We stayed 5 nights, Monday to Friday, and 2 of the nights were so loud that we hardly slept.
There is no breakfast included.

Overview: It's older and needs some maintenance, but if you want cheap and don't care about noise, it will work for a single night.

The bed was comfortable. The pillows were ok. The room had two double beds the room was clean. The noise level throughout the night was noisy. Other patrons had no respect for those already in bed sleeping. |There is a bar and restaurant attached. If I had to I would stay there again. |The staff was friendly and courteous.

Stayed four nights. Bathroom remodel was nice. The staff very friendly. The food was terrific. Breakfast delicious every day. Fast service. Bar food tasty and the over 60 meal is a nice touch. Salisbury steak was very flavourful not just frozen meat patty. Served with fresh vegetables.

Decided to try Morden Motor Inn for the first time in five years and realized that it hasn't gotten any better. Hubby and I ordered two breakfasts...he got his and mine was forgotten and not order not placed. Busyness had nothing to do with the issue as the dining room was 3/4 full and coffee shop only had 5 other patrons. Coffee and tea were both lukewarm. Could hardly hear the waitress when she spoke although when asked,she was relatively new (one month). Will absolutely not be back ! |

The Service could have been better, on a Friday night, my boyfriends meal was ok but mine was not.
They waitress didn't didn't come around with coffee when WE needed...
Her excuse because the Bar was busy I was not impressed !!!!!
We are NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!

This was the most affordable option in Morden that was not a B + B, and it was perfectly fine for the price. The bathroom had been updated, and the furniture was new-ish, and all seemed clean enough. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The only issue was that the internet did not work at all in my room (room 217), and did not even show up on available wireless networks. I hardly dealt with the front-end staff and was in my room for a grand total of 10 hours, so I have no opinion about any other part of the hotel.
