Came in for a visit with a friend and a warm beverage on a cold day. We both had our infants with us and we felt cozy and welcomed. Great to have a spot where we feel comfortable bringing our little ones while we enjoy a coffee. Will be back!

We were in town for a short time this past weekend and couldn’t find a better spot to eat. The food here set the standard so high that we found it very hard to enjoy a meal at other restaurants that we tried. Loved every bite! Came back for a second visit before we left town!
Happy staff too which usually reflects great ownership / leadership. We for sure are coming back!

Can’t say anything bad about this location, from the location, and the environment. Was looking for a place to have a full breakfast mid-week around Medicine Hat down town area. After calling a few spots and unable to find breakfast served during the week, decided to try this spot. Very pleasant staff, fair pricing and delicious food. Eggs Benedict was some of the best sauce I’ve had, and the sausage was good. Hashbrowns amazing. Little gem, glad I stopped by, will be back.

Travelling through we chose this place for brunch vs Cora’s, we like to support independent businesses.
My partner had the classic breakfast, the bacon was cooked so much it was hardly recognizable as bacon, black and dehydrated. I had the Florentine eggs Benedict on their fresh biscuit. I don’t know what they put in their biscuits but they have a very strange flavour like they added a cup of powdered milk or something to them? Maybe they were gluten free which I didn’t order they were definitely not what I expected. I had a choice of fries, roasted potatoes or salad, I chose the roasted potatoes put they were more like fried short potatoes. Overall we were not impressed with our meals. My chai latte was delicious, his coffee was not. The jam was lovely. We won’t be recommending this place to people. The staff were very friendly

Tried this cafe for the first time. Beautiful, and quiet atmosphere, even when full. I ordered a chickpea salad, with like cilantro (and tahini dressing - which was missing). The salad was really good nonetheless. When it was time to pay,I mentioned the salad was great, but asked about the tahini dressing. The waitress said that was her favourite part of the salad. I mentioned it was missing and I was disheartened that instead of an apology, I was argued with and told it was on the salad (photo included). I had to bring my empty bowl to prove my point. I was disappointed we were not asked once how everything was or checked up on during our visit. This could have resulted in rectifying the missing item. There was some amazing artwork made locally on for sale the walls in the hallway. Also, the building was very cold. Out of a scale from 1 -10 on returning, I would give it a 5 to give it another shot.

Update: I have returned to give the cafe another try. Had a wonderful experience with our waitress and our snack and lavender oat latte was incredible, not too sweet and it was warmer in the cafe:)

We popped in here after driving from Calgary. Coffee was really good, decently priced. But the highlight was the ham and cheese sandwich... The bread was perfect; the ham was nicely cooked; the cheese worked well with the pickled onion and Dijon dressing. We're still talking about how good it was, and we'll be back again. Check it out 👍
