Had a great stay here during my trip to Rankin Inlet. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a nice apartment-style feel. The staff went above and beyond, especially when I got storm-stayed during a blizzard. If I ever return to Nunavut, this is where I’d want to stay again. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my husband and our twin daughters at the Nanuq Lodge for 5 nights. Jesse and Gordon made us feel very welcome and comfortable. "Home away from home". Sharon was super nice, we really appreciate her hard work.
We definitely would recommend this place. We hope to come back!

Thankful to find a place to stay in Rankin Inlet and the great service provided by the manager for picking us up at the airport, with our bags, and delivering us back to the airport the next day. 

The rooms are very clean and come equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, TV with cable and Internet.

Since the new management has taken over, it's been a much needed breath of fresh air. Jesse was beyond accommodating and there to assist me with any questions or concerns. All of the staff were very friendly and greeted me in the common areas, I felt like more than just a guest. The new Starlink (free) only added to the great experience at Nanuq Lodge, as the internet didn't work at all with old management. There are no longer dogs barking at all ends of the night and it's become a very peaceful play to rest and stay. Highly recommend Nanuq Lodge and Executive Suites to anyone looking to stay in Rankin Inlet, they also have very affordable rates compared to other places in the hamlet.

Great small town feel that reminded me of going out and exploring with my oma.

Talking to the owners and staff was great as they were genuinely kind with great stories (anyone wanting to know about dog sledding is strongly encouraged to listen to the stories). Gorgeous location with natural scenery (a small boardwalk would have been nice to ensure people don't walk on some of the birds and other animals nests).

There was a communal kitchen where anyone was able to use anything (people are expected to clean up after themselves for the kitchen/laundry room in return for using the appliances and such, or returning books that they can borrow, etc.).

Amazing, lovely people, very patient and very flexible.
Decent, quiet rooms with mini fridge, micro and a TV, they all work, are clean and not stinky. Wood-framed building interior has nice colors and textures, decor is visually engaging. Breakfast food items are a life-saver, available all day and very agreeable, help yourself to them in the common kitchen that has a TV, full-size fridge, freezer, range (cooker), toasters, some coffee things, dishes and utensils, all are cleaned frequently. Included guest-accessible laundry is much appreciated. Headboards (carpet nailed into wall) are warm, nice to touch.
WIFI could be glitchy at times, blinds don't work and so window area is dusty. Thickly. You may be allergic to it. Washing machine door seals dirty (never used the dryers). Cleaning schedule of headboards (carpet nailed into wall) is unknown, you might be allergic, their fastening is a bush-fix. Scheduling of rooms might be glitchy at times.

The staff are friendly as usual! It’s very quiet! The owner is very nice picked me up at the airport!! They treat my dog like a member of the family!! That is very important to me! Close to a couple of restaurants owned by the co-op! Close to the northern store and banks! Highly recommend!!
