Very pleasant experience, we did a 1hour couples relaxation massage and let me tell you not disappointed at all. From the oils they used to the way they did the massage I left there feeling great!

Highly recommend nature’s salt cave to anyone who just wanted to relax and loose all train of thought.

I really like this place for massages (I usually get the stress away treatment), but I tried the facial service this time and was a little concerned. There were not nearly enough questions asked on the form. I use active skincare ingredients which makes me skin sensitive so some of the products stung. They were also heavily fragranced so just know that this isn’t the place to get a facial if you have sensitive skin. Again I like the place and will come back for other services but was disappointed by the facial. Also expensive for a facial that’s not customized to the client

Hidden gem in Guelph! I had an amazing experience with a body massage and facial treatment inside the salt room. The atmosphere was incredible—so calming and rejuvenating. The combination of wellness treatments and the unique salt therapy made it unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation and self-care.

I have been going here once a week for the past several months. The more I go, the more I love it. The salt cave is so relaxing, peaceful and calming. I go in feeling pretty good but leave feeling more relaxed than i thought was possible. Staff is very friendly and eager to make your experience nothing short of awesome. Very highly recommended

I love coming to Nature’s Salt Cave!
I have become somewhat of a regular since last year.
It’s a little bit of a hidden gem-tucked away in an area that is easy to miss!
The facility itself is beautiful from the salt room to the salt cave. Very clean, well set up.
The staff are amazing and I have enjoyed every service offered so far (my favourite being the relaxation massage!).
They have monthly promotions as well, which is fun if you want to try something new out at a lower price!
Really can’t say enough good things. Thanks Nature’s Salt Cave!

I used the salt cave for the first time a couple of days ago. I have copd and am going through some medical issues and could barely walk in on my own accord. But i heard about the benefits from different people so i thought why not try it? Can't get any worse so Yola assisted me in. While there i had a profound experience and after the session I was able to breathe without effort. Even 2 days later i am not using puffers. Dead woman walking in and a totally functioning woman walking out. I highly recommend it and booked 10 sessions. I want to thank Yola for her kindness. Love this place !

Wonderful relaxing massage in the salt cave! The ladies working there are very nice. Having a massage here has such a nice vibe with the salt, lighting, waterfalls, rocks, little ceiling twinkle lights and everything. Grateful I came here =)

Our service at Nature’s Salt Cave was truly abysmal. We booked the sauna and couple’s massage. The sauna was nice but no robes or slippers were provided, so we had to get dressed in our street clothes immediately after. We were supposed to then have a 5-minute wait before our massages. After 30 minutes and no communication, we checked to see if they had forgotten about us, only to be told they were just running behind and weren’t ready for us yet.
When they finally came to get us, we had to walk through the spa in our bare feet on the cold floor as no slippers were provided, and shoes were not permitted inside. When we entered the room for our side-by-side couple’s massage, the setup felt very unprofessional. The massage beds were draped in household blankets, and the estheticians were dressed in street clothes.
The service we received was not what I expect for a massage. The treatment consisted of having the esthetician's hands gently rubbing lotion over my skin, with almost no pressure being applied at all. Despite asking her twice to apply more pressure, she just stated that this wasn’t the type of massage it was – it was meant for “relaxation.” I understood this was not an RMT-massage, however my other experiences with non-RMTs were very different from this in that they manipulated muscle, not just rubbed skin.
Although feeling extremely disappointed in my experience, I politely reached out to the spa by email (see attached pic) instead of writing a negative review. After a week of hearing nothing, I called the manager and have never been met with so much hostility and rudeness. While I remained calm and polite, I was yelled at, berated, and blamed for our abysmal experience.
As I was talking, the manager continually interrupted me and interjected with confrontational statements, such as,
“IT’S NOT AN RMT-MASSAGE – we don’t have an RMT here so you should have read that online before you booked!” (after I told her I understood what I booked) and “Well, that’s your opinion. My girls are very professional, and I have received many massages from them, and they were always good. I’m sorry that’s your opinion.”
When I complained about paying $300 to have someone essentially rub lotion on my back, she responded, “Well, you should’ve checked the price before coming!” followed by “MY GIRLS ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? They don’t have massage training – they are estheticians.” The manager then went on to say that I should’ve gotten up in the middle of the massage if I was unhappy (keep in mind, both of us were naked under our respective sheets). She said it was my fault and she won’t give me a refund because I “accepted the service.” “Can you order food at a restaurant, eat it, and then tell the waiter it was bad and expect a refund? NO! THAT’S NOT HOW THE WORLD WORKS!” were her exact words to me on the phone. Having said that, I truly do not believe she ever would have refunded me if I had left partway through the “massage.”
I felt so frustrated and overwhelmed, I actually started to cry on the phone. The woman showed no empathy and continued to yell at, and blame, me for what happened.
After getting nowhere trying to resolve this amicably, I told the manager I was going to leave an honest online review to which she responded “THIS IS HARASSMENT! YOU ARE HARASSING US, AND I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT! I will put a note in our system that you are not welcome back to our spa. We do not appreciate “your type” of clientele!”
One polite email and one cool-as-a-cucumber-toned phone call = harassment? Wow!
I would never recommend this spa facility to anyone. Don’t waste your money. If I could leave 0 stars, I would!
