Came on a Saturday night for jazz night and loved the concept of cocktails and live entertainment in a coffee shop, however found the drinks a bit pricey for what they were. Drinks were mediocre and not very crafty. The desserts (matcha berry and sakura cake) on the other hand were delicious and worth the price. The ambiance was chill, the tables were very small to share but made it work. Spent maybe close to $60 for 2 cocktails, 2 cakes & 1 sando.

NEO Coffee Bar is a hidden gem right across from The Well at King and Spadina.

The coffee is smooth and beautifully crafted, the Japanese desserts are delicate and full of detail, and the cozy atmosphere is perfect for reading, relaxing, or catching up with friends.

There’s live jazz every Friday and Saturday night (7–11 pm), and a weekday combo deal (latte + cheesecake or strawberry roll cake) for just $9.95 after 3pm.

Whether you’re looking for a morning coffee, an afternoon sweet treat, or an evening drink with tapas, NEO has it all. Highly recommend!

Heard about the live music and wanted to try. The spacious interior has a minimalist design and ample seating.  However, the tiny booth tables are impractical for comfortable dining. The live band was very talented. While the Matcha and Chai teas were excellent quality, mine was served tepid. Asked to have it redone and received a cold response. The deserts are delicious and must try! Their Path location service is the same and lacks hospitality. It's the norm these days.

Lovely space for a morning coffee or baked good. Spacious interior, large windows, tall ceilings, half brutalist, half scandanavian Japanese interior design with lots of seating options for solo dining, two tops, or groups as well as outdoor options. The space is incredibly clean and open, even the restrooms are beautiful and clean, playing upbeat Japanese old school pop jams. We ordered the mocha, cortado, cold brew and breakfast cookie and all were smooth and delicious with balanced flavors.

As usual on a Sunday, I slipped into my little routine: discovering a new café or trying out a unique drink. Google led me to this spacious spot that instantly reminded me of the cafés I used to frequent in downtown Shanghai. What caught my eye was the sakura latte — a seasonal limited edition, of course. According to the barista, it’s made with white chocolate sakura powder extracted from the flower itself, giving it that subtle floral aroma. The latte doesn’t actually contain caffeine, which is perfect as I’m once again trying to cut back on my intake. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but for a weekly indulgence, I’d say it’s worth it. I treated myself… and just savored that sense of freedom, going wherever you want, without a care in the world.

Love popping in here to get a quick drink and try their seasonal desserts. Their matcha berry cake was delicious 🤤 I've tried their cookies on two separate occasions and they're pretty hard.... This location is usually crowded and not a lot of seating available because of that.
