Went to the King of Pub (not sure why its also called New Village?) in December with a group of 4. It is a long and narrow spot like a lot of places in the area. We were promptly sat and orders were taken quickly. Food came out fast too. We got calamari and chicken wings for the table to share. Both were excellent. They give you a good portion of calamari for $12. It was a Tuesday so the wings were 50% off. The honey garlic were well sauced. I went with the King Homemade Lamb Burger with fries. It was fantastic, great burger for $15.
It is hard to beat the prices, a burger and fries from a takeout place nearby is $18 and up.
I would recommend and would return to King of Pub restaurant.

Margherita pizza 는 짜지 않고 맛있었어요! Special offer 로 맥주 할인해주는 것도 좋았어요!! 하지만 조명이 파란색이어서 음식 및 사진이 잘 나오지 않는건 아쉬웠습니다 ! 분위기 좋은 건 유지하되 조명색을 바꾸면 더 좋을 거 같습니다 !

Bar hoping brought us to this place for a drink. Ended up being talked into the fish and chips ! Was tasty and fresh. Partner had cheesecake that was also tasty. Narrow building but dive type atmosphere. Bartender never heard of a white Russian before but made it great!

The pizza was very good but took a very long time. Only about nine people on the restaurant. We ordered an appetizer and was told they were sold out of it (poutine) at 7pm. Service was ok. Our server didn’t care but luckily the bartender ended up assisting us. It was average. I wouldn’t suggest this place if you’re in a hurry.

A new, smaller bar with about ten tables and specials that were a bit shocking. A ten dollar special on Christmas day for ten wings and a bottle of domestic beer was too good to pass over. The food was delicious and fairly quick from the kitchen. The bar was playing Christmas music, while the two TVs were tuned to sports, and the LED lights were scrolling through rainbows, with the bar staff checking in frequently to see how things were going. The menu was a bit all over the place, as there are burgers, but also pasta with truffle oil and pizzas. The wings were fantastic, as were the ricotta/beef/pork meatballs. The menu did do well to specify ingredients with sensitivities, and had a good level of information about their gluten free pizzas. The pricing on the menu seemed to be fair value for a King Street spot, but the pricing on the specials had such a compelling value. I'm looking forward to seeing how King of Pub establishes itself over time.

We went on Friday during happy hour. Great prices. Drinks were good. Appetizers were okay but wouldn’t order again. Had the poppers and mozza sticks. However, the bathroom was horrible and dirty. Very small and gross
