First time here, we liked the atmosphere at lunch because it was quiet...but it's definitely got cool bar vibes and you can see it being loud and boisterous at the dinner hour and beyond.
It was very appealing decor wise and the booth seating was extremely comfortable so it's a 5* for atmosphere.
Service: Ian was our server. He was very personable and attentive and did quality checks... I'm not sure if it was free refills but I could have used one, and didn't get it 😜
As for the food, this time it's a 3*. I ordered a trio which is half sandwich, small soup and small salad. To be fair, it's hard to judge a restaurant menu based on my particular order. I will say, I'm a soup person but the soup wasn't overly flavourful (it was butternut squash). The salad...I got Ceasar salad...and there was something pretty bitter in it.
The sandwich, I paid the extra dollar and got the brisket. It was just okay.
Because service was good and atmosphere was great, I'll probably go back but give something else on the menu a try.

I went here for the AYCE Sunday brunch tapas! I first saw the sign outside, and then I checked their website and it is very easy and straightforward website with prices and times. That’s just to start, so when I went.. wow. The service was abut slow at first (understandable because it was sooo busy) *I’d suggest making a reservation first just to be safe* but they easily sat the 3 of us, once our server came over he was quick and super friendly and helpful!! I love this place. But the food? It’s absolutely exceptional!!! The mix of flavours, textures and the plating alone is absolute GENIUS! I almost wanted to ask who curated the menu.. it was phenomenal food to say the least. Not to mention the portions for tapas are very generous! You will NOT be disappointed if you try this place! I will be back again this Sunday.

Came for brunch and was VERY impressed, evry dish was delicious and the selection was phenomenal. Can I mention the atmosphere was welcoming and the DJ was on point, yes they had a DJ for Sunday brunch. Place was PACKED yet service was flawless. drinks were great too

We got the opportunity to try Next Kitchen + Bar this weekend. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and very accommodating. We ordered the macho nachos to share, perfect amount for 4 people, the chips were almost a won ton vibe and cut into strips. Very delicious. We went with the Chicken pad Thai and 40 creek bbq brisket melt for the mains. Both were amazing, very unique flavours and nice presentation. All food came out quick and tasted freshly made. Would definitely recommend you check out Next if you are in the area or if you are looking to try new restaurants.

Was passing by and decided to try this restaurant. I have to say I was very impressed by the ambiance, service and the food was extremely good with good sized portions. We had the calamari as an app and the Brisket sandwich and Bee Dip sandwiches and they were incredible. Our server Chris R was very attentive and we never had to wait for him to make sure everything was good with our visit. Would definitely be back and will recommend to others.

Great place to hang out, have food or even catch the game. Lots of TVs to keep you entertained. Like the interior look. Food is great. Service is great. The kitchen is very fast. The Butcher's Beef Dip is amazing. Free WiFi. Clean facility. Clean washrooms. The Dirty Bird though super crispy has too much tang.

Wing night was unbelievable again at The NEST in Welland. Massive wings with tons of flavor! 85 cents per wing, for dine in only! These are easily 2-3 times the size of most wings in Niagara! Great flavours such as BBQ; sour cream and onion; honey garlic; sweet Thai chili; garlic parm; and more! The fries are fresh cut and food prices are beyond reasonable!!!!!
The environment is great and music trivia night tonight added to the ambiance and created such a fun and delicious night! Servers are fantastic and so beyond friendly!

Disappointed After a Great First Visit

This was our second time visiting for tapas. The first time, we went at 8 p.m. and had a great experience—the food, the service, and the atmosphere were all excellent. That visit really set the bar high.

Unfortunately, this time was the complete opposite. We also came at 8 p.m., but the service was terrible. Our waitress forgot our drinks and food more than once. She seemed more interested in chatting with the bartender than taking care of our table. My friend tried several times to get her attention, but she didn’t even look our way. When it became clear we were irritated, she didn’t seem the least bit bothered or apologetic.

To make things worse, they were out of several tapa items we wanted to order. It wasn’t super busy , so there was no clear reason for the neglect.

It’s disappointing to have such an inconsistent experience. After how great our first visit was, we expected much better.
