Paul and Carmen are lovely hosts, very friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. They provide a cozy bedroom for you in their country home with access to a washroom across the hall or downstairs. You will feel like one of the family. A basic breakfast is provided and they offer an upstairs kitchen for your use. We were in the area to take a whale watching trip. This Port McNeill, BC, Canada B&B is a reasonably priced alternative to the higher priced Telegraph Cove cottages, just a few minutes down the road.

Paul and Carmen are warm, friendly, generous hosts. We stayed one night, and they went out of their way to help us as we prepared to set out for a five-day kayak trip. (We had a lot of gear and sorting to do.) We two were then the only guests staying in the well-equipped, comfortable and homey second floor of the house. On arrival Paul pointed out a nearby trail in the forest when we explained we needed some exercise; Carmen told us how to get to the water to see the sunset. Very kind people we'd enjoy staying with again.

Paul, Carmen and their daughter were exceptional hosts and treated me like family. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed--including transportation--and were very kind and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay at their clean and rustic home. My room was very comfortable and the breakfast was made to order and very tasty. A bonus: I got to spend a relaxing evening in the hot tub after a long day of kayaking and whale watching.

Me and a friend spent two nights at the Nimpkish Forest B&B in August 2014. It is a fantastic place to stay. Paul and Carmen are wonderful hosts, they have been super nice. My friend and me went kayaking in Telegraph Cove and we could share our adventures with them. And not to forget, they served us the best salmon, I ever ate. I hope I get the chance to come back to Port McNeill some day.

What a wonderful place to stay. Carmen, Paul and Karina were so welcoming. Nothing was a problem. Paul printed off maps and extra information for where we wanted to go. It was fun to share the day's experiences when we arrived back. Oh, cannot forget those waffles for breakfast. Fantastic. Accomadaion was the whole of the upstairs. A kitchen really comes in handy if you do not want to eat out. This is your home away from home. We have stayed in many people's homes but this one had a special feel. Set in a wooded area on a large allotment it was so peaceful. The hot tub was welcoming after a day out exploring on foot or by bike. If you have bikes go over to Alert Bay. The Alice loop was a fun drive if you have the right sort of car. We definitely could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Beautiful environment for this B&B in a remote location close to Port McNeill. The location was perfect for us having to leave very early in the morning for a bear watching trip from Telegraph Cove. The owner was very kind to set up a great breakfast at 5:45 am. Downsides were the small room and the bathroom which was on another floor, so that we would have to cross the house to get a shower.

Stayed here 2 nights in July 2013, was treated as part of the family. Enjoyed the hot tub after being on the ocean kayaking for the day. Breakfasts were great, I was even treated to dinner with the family. The bedroom was more than comfortable, had the upstairs kitchen was great to keep food for lunches fresh and a few cold ones after spending the day exploring. Would stay here again if I returned to do more exploring.||John

Helaas konden we, tijdens onze reis, maar één nachtje verblijven bij Paul en Carmen. Wat een geweldige, gastvrije en lieve mensen zijn dit! Heel bijzonder. Hun B&B is heel comfortabel en de hot-tub is mooi. Ze hebben een heerlijk ontbijt voor ons gemaakt. Helemaal top! Dit is de plek waar je heen wilt als je in het noorden van Vancouver Island verblijft. We hopen snel een keer terug te komen!
