Merveilleux petit hôtel tenu parfaitement par un couple de gérants passionnés par leur métier. l'endroit est calme avec une vue magnifique, les chambres sont rutilantes de propreté, confortables, etc.||Le petit déjeuner continental offre un très bon choix, le tout dans une salle vue sur la mer. j'y retournerai pour tester la chambre 7

We had a lovely family dinner here at the Nimpkish restaurant. Do suggest that you bring a sweater and blanket if sitting outside for dinner.
I had the halibut and chips, it was so delicious! Top knotch! Not greasy, light batter and 2 pieces of thick dense halibut.
My cousin had the seafood curry on rice and wow did it smell fantastic!
I recommend this place to eat!

Spent 3 weeks here and loved it. Most rooms look out over the water, the deck is gorgeous and sits over the water, and the restaurant makes amazing food. My favourite was the seafood curry which had large chunks of fresh fish in it. The owner works hard to make the food as farm-to-table as possible.

The owners are fantastic, and Tina is one of their new additions who is absolutely lovely. Highly recommend staying and eating here.

We booked the more affordable room, it was small but the bed was very comfortable and did the trick. The owners are extremly welcoming and they alone are the reason we will come back. The food at the restaurant they run is delicious and decently priced. The views from the hotel patio are beautiful and made for a very relaxing and romantic stay for those looking to get away for a night.

Came to Nimpkish Hotel on the suggestion of friends and were equally happy. Warm welcome. Clean. Lovely view and location. Recommend the restaurant. Most of all want to praise the staff Member Tina and owners who went the extra mile on our behalf, to help us retrieve and reconnect with a personal item belonging to overseas friends — who needed it to continue their journey. Would definitely come back again!

Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful views from my room and delicious food. Great shared spaces (breakfast room and restaurant) allowed comfortable interactions with other guests. This hotel is part of the fascinating history and culture of Alert Bay!

We were grateful that we had dinner at the restaurant on our first evening on the island. Although we did not stay at the hotel, meeting the hotel owner, Capt. Will improved our trip by leaps and bounds. Kind, gracious and very knowledgeable about Vancouver Island. He was very engaging at multiple random encounters. The food was delicious and we even got to see an otter off the deck of the restaurant. I hope we cross paths again, Captain Will. Respectfully, Dave & Kelly Sandoval
