The North Delta Recreation Centre is a fantastic facility! The gym is well-equipped with modern machines and plenty of space, making it perfect for a solid workout. The outdoor swimming pool is a real highlight—clean, well-maintained, and ideal for both laps and leisure swimming. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a great experience every time. It’s a wonderful place for fitness enthusiasts and families alike. Highly recommend!

The facility is nice and the weight room isn't too busy if you come at right time. Definitely not equipped as well as Sun God. The one star review goes to the attendant downstairs at the entrance. This is an older Indo Canadian female - grey hair. She is extremely condescending, rude and passive aggressive. Although I have personally had no issues with her, I've seen how she speaks to other patrons. She has scolded a child for speaking to her before she wanted to spoken to. She has been rude to people who have asked her simple questions. She seems extremely miserable to be at work or has small person syndrome. I have seen her laughing and joking with her coworkers which leads me to believe she is capable of being nice but chooses not be to the general public. I have asked for her name (for this review) and was not given it. Acting in such a manner towards the youth is a great way to intimidate them away from being active. I hope one of her supervisors reads this and can attempt some retraining with her.

I will end with the rest of the staff at the front and in the weight room are extremely kind and always willing to help.

Friendly staff, clean & supervised by lifeguards at all times. My son is having swimming lesson, he loves it as instructors are great & he learns a lot. It gets crowded during peak hours otherwise its overall good

Great medium-sized weight room with lots of well-maintained equipment and very pleasant and helpful staff. Big windows and mirrors fill the gym with light and allow you to check your form. Not as massive as the nearby Sungod weight room, but less crowded and less intense! I am a regular now!

This recreation centre is home to many facilities - from a fitness centre, ice-skating and hockey rink to an outdoor swimming pool, among others.

Covid-19 update (March 31, 2021): Fraser Health has set up a Covid-19 vaccination clinic at the recreation centre. Booking appointments for vaccination started on March 29.

Great place for outdoor swimming. Also ice rinks for hockey and leisure skating. Weight room. Nice little coffee shop inside as well.
