Such a peaceful place. Clean and well kept external and internal amenities. Staff are so friendly as well. Decently priced fitness memberships and the gym has a great variety of machines and equipment. Note- Parking is expensive if you aren’t a resident of Richmond Hill ($4/hr) but there is street parking within a 10-15 minute walk. Just walking to the centre is so peaceful. Be sure to take a walk along the lake as well!

This is my first time to visit this Community Centre , although I have passed by it over 100 times. A nicely designed community center, not very big but has 2 very nice indoor swimming pools. A big Gym, and some meeting rooms, a fitness center, A nice common area and outdoor sitting area , over looking the beautiful Lake Wilcox . This center belongs to the City of Richmond Hill. For residents of City of Richmond Hill , you better get a parking label from the city before you come to use the center and need to park the car at the parking lot.

Very nice facilities and next to the pond. Waterpark is around there as well. On the smaller side but has a great swimming pool and a few gymnasiums. Ths family change room for the swimming pool is on the larger side as well compared to other community centers around the area.

I recently visited the Oak Ridges Community Center and was thoroughly impressed by the range and quality of services offered. The facilities are top-notch, well-maintained, and cater to all age groups and interests.

There was an adult men age around 35 in women’s changing room today around 1:35 pm. He entered from the pool and wondered around in the changing room and exited to the hallway. There were several girls and their moms in the room. I have to say this is crazy and offensive. I understand that the guy maybe transgender and identifies himself as a woman (but he has a quite manly look), but there is a universal change room available. And the guy didn’t go there to change clothes, he just walked through and looked around. Hope the pool will improve the management.

We had the pleasure of hosting another children birthday party. The space was very clean and beautiful. After the party we had the opportunity to visit Lake Wilcox which is located behind the centre. The neighbourhood is absolutely stunning.

It’s a great community center. Clean and lots of facilities. Swimming pool is great, thanks a lot for all professional life saving guards. It would be nice they have library here.

We came here on a long weekend and it was very busy. Parking was not impossible if you were patient.

On sundays, they have the Band in the Park concerts and we listened to it while eating our lunch. Then we went over to use the swimming pool which was amazing.

The shallow pool was warm like hot tub and it had lots of toys for kids to play with. The larger pool was cooler but not cold. The best part about the pool was the rubberized floor which was so nice on the feet.

The facilities were top notch - universal change rooms which is great for families!

As for the park, there’s a huge skatepark, large climbing structures, beach volleyball courts and outdoor exercise machines. There’s also lots of seating with shaded areas.

A great park and community centre.
