Sat down in a booth for 10 minutes. The waitress and waiter behind bar stared at then ignored us. Did not bring a menu or ask if we wanted anything.

Last time we were advised it was too early for food by the older gentleman who was manning the bar. He still came over let us know the kitchen hours. He ensured we felt welcomed and he was very friendly.

Used to be a favorite spot when in the city. Not anymore. We will not be back again.

First time here ! Totally different atmosphere . Recommended by two folks to try the Pitcher for $15 bucks. I was like you wont get a pitcher in Halifax for 15! Why not try this spot .
Bartender Guy told for $15 bucks they only serve two of them . Think I tried the bourbon . Man I have to be honest here . My personal opinion, here that is not worth for 15. It won’t give you that kick after a beer.

Okay! So here is the good part . Goodness the food there we had was so amazing . I just ordered a pepperoni . Wow. Delicious . Maybe i will go back again for some nice food . Try a different beer lol .

I wanted to try another beer . Craving one more and hoping it might be better than the first . This time tried Oland in a bottle . Again disappointed . I might come back bartenders are nice . It is a tavern. Totally different vibe wish i was more high . Haha .

I wish I didn't have to give negative reviews, BUT they're very lgbtq + unfriendly. my friend who identifies as non-binary use the female bathroom and got called a man by the pink hair manager and we got kicked out. we tried to explain that they were non-binary and the manager said that we were disgusting and she was calling security. security was nice about the situation and said we were invited to come back tomorrow, HOWEVER we were. only in town for the night. they seemed afraid of this pink-haired lady. super disappointed in Nova Scotia, shame on you.

The guy who hosts karaoke is garbage and ruined my karaoke experience. He kept insisting I hold the mic in my left hand which was completely unnecessary as there were no technical issues. I thought it was weird that he only did that to me when everyone else were allowed to hold it however way they preferred. I am not sure why I was singled out and why he kept interrupting me. He should not be allowed to interfere during Karaoke (unless there are good reasons) as it can be distracting and very unenjoyable. I have been to multiple other Karaoke bars and never seen the karaoke host up on the stage when people are singing. Why is he up there? and why does it matter if I use my left hand or right hand?

Don't feel safe in this space. Came here at the recommendation of a friend to just check it out a few weeks ago and the service wasn't great the bartenders were rude the atmosphere wasn't inviting at all and we both felt unsafe we didn't finish our drinks or wait for our food we paid and got out as fast as we could. I would not recommend this space because it's not safe for my female friends or LGBTQ+

Apparently the oldest bar in Halifax. Decently priced cold beverages, lots of pool tables and lots of screens for sports. Quality dive bar if that's what you are looking for. Odd decor that seemed to span many decades.

Hannah has been my server for 3 UFC fights and everytime even when busy shes been super helpful, Although she hasnt been my server desiree has been awesome and helpful everytime!

Was my first time here, and got a giant HEAVY WEIGHT CHALLENGE plate (of course my friend and I couldn’t finish it) the price was decent, and I love their price of the patcher. I don’t really know the “rule” here, the server barely checked on us, but they are pretty nice! Love the food and drink! Prob will go back sometimes!
