We stayed here in site #4 mid June, on a recommendation from the O'Keefe's of True North Camping on YouTube. We are so glad they shared this special spot, I was tempted not to! There are four sites, three are full service and ours was only two way, however that was not an issue, we just used the 'overflow' area for dumping when we left. Our site was right on the beach overlooking Little Bay and it was so quiet and peaceful, a real treat. When we reached out to book, they got back to us right away and the communication was very good. Phyllis, the town Mayor, greeted us on arrival and checked in with us each morning and evening and again when we left. This is a small town and we found most were very friendly. Phyllis told us about the highlights in the area including the small town of Beachside, which was down the road and gorgeous as well, worth the 98 stair climb. We also visited King's Point and ate where she recommended. There are great hikes in the area as well as a lovely look out point overlooking the town. This is a perfect place to stay, we were very sad to leave. We understand that once the capelin arrive in the bay, so do the whales so you could be lucky enough to arrive at that time. We spent two evenings watching the otters and the loon and other birds and also liked walking the beach. It was hot and sunny when we were there but we sat in the shade of the trailer and enjoyed. However once the wind changes you could be in for a quick cool down which honestly we needed. We hope to return to Little Bay someday soon as our six weeks was just not enough to see this beautiful province.

Off the beaten path approximately 16 km from Springdale on Route 392, the Oceanview RV Park was an amazing place to stay. The sites are clean as is the bathroom. Be sure to book before you venture down as there is no internet once you leave Springdale. Sites are right on the water looking out at the Atlantic. At night you can hear the water hitting the shoreline. Definitely want to visit again in warmer weather to use the kayaks and get out on the bay to explore a little. We did bundle up and hike the El Dorado trail while there which was a great hike. It is a historic walking trail through the old mining area of the region with historical signs posted along the way as you hike. An old 19th century cemetery was a surprise find on the trail. Overall, this was a great find for us and won't be the only visit for us. People were delightful, warm and inviting. Great place to unplug, unwind and relax. Just wish it had been a tad bit warmer with less fog, but I guess that is Newfoundland.

A true beauty. 3 full plus 1 partial serviced sites directly on the ocean. The sites are large, spotless and exceptionally easy 3-way hook ups. Access to the beautiful El Dorado trail and a playground too. Booking was easy with very quick reply as well greeted upon pulling in. If you're looking for waterslides, arcades and entertainment, this campground isn't for you. What this location offers are peace, quiet, beauty, friendly, million dollar views and beach. We almost didn't write this review to keep this park a secret||

We stayed at Ocean View in Little Bay NL in early July. To me it is a best kept secret in NL and selfishly I hope it stays that way. There are 4 RV sights available with an overflow. The sites are approximately 200 feet from the shoreline and you look down the Bay out into the Ocean. Phyllis, who is the Mayor of Little Bay, also administers the RV Park and is a wonderful host. If you have the time, hike to an area that is a former copper mine, take the road up to Back Cove, and a short day trip to Kingspoint. I highly recommend a very peaceful stay at Ocean View RV Park.
