Nous avions opté pour ce type de chambre moins cher comme compromis pour pouvoir s’offrir ce resort, versus une chambre dans le Main Lodge ou un mini-chalet, mais si on y revenait, j’opterais pour une meilleure option. ||Les +: Excellente localisation à 5 minutes de Peggys Cove, imbattable. Site du resort récent, propre, bien aménagé (spa venait d’ouvrir lors de notre passage, nous n’en avons pas profité), aires communes extérieures et dans le Main Lodge très bien décorées et confortables. Café Keurig offert gratuitement à quelques endroits. On nous a offert des chocolats et un mousseux gratuitement pour notre lune de miel, une belle attention. Lit confortable, nous avons bien dormi. Le meilleur est l’accès à la plage privée, wow! ||Les -: La cuisinette commune et les couloirs pour les chambres au-dessus du restaurant sentent vraiment la friture qui monte d’en bas, ça écoeure un peu (heureusement, la chambre était épargnée). Les chambres ne sont pas bien isolées et on entend les voisins (heureusement, le resto ferme tôt, le bruit d’en bas lui n’est pas vraiment un problème). Le mobilier de la chambre est un peu usé, et un époussetage (lampes de chevet, calorifères…) aurait vraiment été de mise. Les rideaux laissent passer la lumière. La vue est sur la route, la construction et le parking du resto. Il fallait garder la plupart des rideaux fermés en tout temps, car les fenêtres de la salle de bain et de la chambre donnent directement sur le balcon commun où des chaises de détente sont placées…! L’eau du robinet avait une petite teinte orangée et la pression était inégale (moments où il n’y avait plus d’eau). Le buffet déjeuner était OK mais sans plus selon moi.

Nous avons passé deux jours à cette endroit, nous avons choisi de louer un cottage à la place de notre chambre du départ.||||Nous avons fait un feu sur la plage à environ 30 pied du cottage et environ 5 pied des vagues. ||||Nous avons apprécié notre séjour malgré que le lit datait un peu, et les branches d'arbre frottait sur le cottage toute la nuit et le wifi ne dépassait pas le salon.||||Coté restaurant le Rhubarb est correct, mais il n'y a pas beaucoup de restaurant chic autour, plûtot style casse-croute.

Stunning location and beautiful rooms.|We stayed our first in one of the Rhubarb rooms with an ocean view and the second night in one without the view. The room is just large for two people to be comfortable rathet than cramped, with a huge bed and crisp cotton linen. It's beautifully furnished and decorated. The bathroom has a super shower and large fluffy towels. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice and the staff are friendly and helpful |The thing that really makes this special is the location and the stunning views. A private beach edges onto a sandy/rocky bay. Plenty of adirondack chairs are provided and staff will light a fire for you if you ask. A stunning place to watch the sunset. |We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night.

My husband and I did the Twilight Hydrothermal Journey on the last day of our Nova Scotia trip and it was so lovely. The spa is modern and beautiful with lots of seating options, several fire pits, 2 hot tubs, 2 saunas, and a cold plunge. We enjoyed being there in the evening with less crows and enjoyed the peaceful setting at sunset with a glass of Tidal Bay. The entire property overlooks the water and is so stunning. We also loved our dinner at Rhubarb beforehand. Perfect ending to a wonderful trip.

I loved Oceanstone Spa. The facility is not huge but beautiful and very clean. The gardens around the hydrothermal area were beautiful and natural. It wasn't crowded, easy to order food and drink. The salt steam room and sauna were amazing and I had a massage in a private cabin that was wonderful. The staff are efficient and pleasant as well. The change rooms are small but as it wasn't overly busy that was fine.

I am going to update my review after speaking with the owner and being invited back to the spa, because it's the right thing to do.

Last week my husband and I revisited the spa - we had an absolutely wonderful time. It was a beautiful day, everything was clean, the rules were being respected, and it wasn't too busy.

Personally, I love going when it's not too busy. I recommend if you're like me, plan to go during the day on a week day when school is back in (10:30 - 1:30 is the best window).

We are repeat clients and will be for a long time. We love supporting local.

Although my first review wasn't the most positive the owner reached out and was nothing but professional- he genuinely wanted to make things right. That speaks volumes and plays a big part of us in continuing to be customers of Oceanstone.

The staff is always kind, friendly, and welcoming. They are eager to address any questions or concerns the guests have and every time we come the customer service is exceptional.

Although we a frequent guests of the spa, I was happy to be reminded of the rules when entering the spa, speaking quietly, taking your belongings with you, and no cellphones. Excellent to see that the rules are told to every guest regardless of the amount of times they've visited.

The location was clean, the saunas were in great working order, and we were able to rotate fire table to fire table based on which we're occupied.

It was a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful visit. See you again soon Oceanstone!
