First and foremost, the staff at Oleo's Ice Cream Castle are nothing short of amazing. Their warm and welcoming demeanor immediately puts you at ease, making you feel like a cherished guest rather than just another customer. What sets them apart is their willingness to go above and beyond to make your visit memorable. Whether you have dietary restrictions, specific flavor preferences, or even just a curious question about the ice cream-making process, the staff are more than happy to assist and accommodate your needs. Their passion for their craft is evident, and it adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your visit.

We make the stop in Camrose, from Grande Prairie, once or twice a year, specifically to ride the mirror lake train and pay a small arm and leg for a delicious tasty treat. After our experience today with the rude lady working the counter, it’s the last time that we will be back as I think she’s either an owner or a manager. Either way, to snap at customers and belittle trainees infront of customers, loses my business plain and simple and can’t even recommend the place anymore. I can understand people having a bad day, but to be flat out ugly to everyone around you, you probably should have called in sick if your day was that bad. Our total bill for five waffle cones, a cup and a mini me was $41… kindness is free though and goes a long way! To the young man who served us ice cream, I hope you don’t need to share your $15 tip with her because I paid that cash for YOU and your friendly service. You did amazing and even through I knew you wanted to dip behind the counter and not come back up, you kept going and you were positive and friendly the whole experience even though noticeably rattled. Kuddos to you, keep doing what you do!

We were camping at Miquelon and it was a hot day so we decided to go into Camrose for some ice cream. The ice cream was fantastic. There was a wide selection for everyone including non-dairy. Prices were very good for the amount of ice cream that we got. Was clean and the owner (?) was very hospitable. Located near the Camrose Information Centre, so a perfect location. Can do a number of walks and things from there. Will definitely be coming back.

This small ice cream shack beside Mirror Lake is conveniently located beside a playground and picnic tables. Prices are normal: $3 kids, $4 single, $6 double, $1 waffle cone. The girl behind the counter stopped cleaning as soon as we walked up, waiting patiently until we had decided, and answering all our questions about the flavors like "roly poly". My top ice cream scoop was good but the bottom one had ice crystals throughout, like it had melted and refrozen. Ice cream is from Foothills Creamery - a reputable brand.

Been here many times, while my boys were growing up. We all still love the Ice Cream and atmosphere, outdoors.
