Spent 10+ years living in South Korea. Visited this restaurant once because I love the food. My experience here didn't hit the mark on taste or price:

Paid roughly $80 for their recommended menu items:

The LA calbi wasn't great. It tasted like it was dipped in the ocean prior to serving; it was fishy and certainly didn't come across as being marinated long enough (if at all)

The Bulgogi was just alright.

The Kimbap was the best part but overpriced for one roll (10 pieces)

Too many Asian fusion menu items and not enough specialization have created low-quality dishes. We were provided one free side of seaweed (or miso soup?) as an appetizer; I was disappointed there was no kimchi or other sides because it was much too salty.

Aside from that, the interior of the restaurant isn't large and inadequate ventillation in dining area - smoky.

Staff was limited but kind. I suggest rebranding as Asian fusion (not Korean) and focus on fewer dishes.

We have eaten in and taken out and it’s always delicious. Lots of variety in the dishes, but everything is still fresh and tasty. Great addition to the local food scene. The only negative is the lack of ventilation, so it gets quite smoky when eating in. Once that is fixed, it will be an amazing place to go for KBBQ and spend some time, but take out is a great option!

Wonderful place! Fresh, delicious food and friendly service. A great place for a date! The pork katsu was hot, crispy, and juicy. The ramen had a rich, flavourful broth that wasn't too salty to enjoy. I can't wait to come back to work my way through the menu.

Fast and courteous service. Delicious food and a great menu. A great location looking over wentworth park. Go for a nice walk after your meal. The server told us that they were in the process of securing a liquor license:)

Loved this authentic Korean restaurant in the former Wentworth perk building. The owner makes the kimchi herself, traditionally fermented. The bibimbop was just as good as the kimchi.

My God, that is the worst terrible thing I have been in the restaurant in the Canada. This is not Korean restaurant at all, totally different. Order two Raman,but it was the instant noodle they gave us. I am wondering this owner the knowledge about distinguish between Korean food, and Japanese food. There is evidence that fraud and irregularity continue on a large scale of Cape Breton. I have reported it to relevant government agencies and let everyone know it’s truth.

Had a fantastic dinner here the other day. The service was quick, the food was delicious and fresh, and the table was very clean (unlike sticky tables etc you may encounter in chain restaurants). When we ordered the plain fried chicken since my sister prefers plain, the waiter offered to include both sauces on the side so I could still enjoy them. Will definitely be eating here again when I'm in the area!
